Other Noobs and semi exp to run threw the 4th edition redbox

Hi my name is Rick i am 29 and been wanting to get into some RPG's outside of video games for years but never found a group to enjoy the experience with.  I recently bought the 4th edition red box and I have posted in my town and asked friends and family and just received that look like I have maybe gone nuts but I don't think they really understand it. If anyone would like to join and maybe help for this would just be an intro and a chance to move on to more adventures please let me know.

What day/time were you thinking of running this game?

I should go onto say I would like to start with the adventure that came with the redbox and then move on from there using the redbox campaign as learning grounds for I am completely new to D&D I did purchase all the 3.5 edition books a long time ago but was to confusing and couldn't find anyone to help me grasp it so when I saw this redbox I thought it was a chance to learn but now I cant find others. And I was also thinking it would be great to go threw it with other new players and possibly someone with some DM exp for I feel I am not ready to complete such a task but if need be I would sit with it more and try my best. It would be a growing exp for everyone with hopes of creating campaigns and moving forward.

well I was thinking night games( I am est. time zone) and preferably fri or sat I would say around 8or 9pm or what would be suitable for a group and what works best for all interested cause I wouldn't want others to work just around my schedual. finding a common ground shouldn't be a problem.

id be interested in playing im new to pen and paper myself but familiar with the rpg portion. im 19 so mature content isnt a problem and i have skype and a working mic as well, and 8-9 est isnt a problem for me, would appreciate it if youd PM me if you decide to make a group

Hey Rick, I'm Matt. I've been playing 4th edition for a few years now, though somewhat inconsistently. I'd love to join you and can give you some advice if you want (I'm no rules lawyer though). I'm in the central time zone, but my schedule is flexible (sleep is for the weak). 8-9 est would work great for me. I have a mic and character sheets ready.
