Hi all. I recently had my RL tabletop game come to a grinding halt and fall apart because players just could not regularly make it, I have been in gaming withdrawal for the past month. I heard about roll20 and thought I would look into it and hopefully find a fun group. Anyways I am looking for a group to play pathfinder with. I have been playing pathfinder for a few years so im not new to it, though I am a complete newbie when it comes to this site. I am willing to make a commitment to any day of the week, though I wont be able to game tue-sat until after 5pm Arizona time (-7:00 GMT no daylight savings ever). As a player, and I suppose a person, I adapt my style and personality to that of those I hang out with. I am a bit of a power gamer and rules jockey, but only within the limits of what I am given, don't want me to do something just say no, I will give my argument and if you still say no then ill drop the issue. For me the power gaming is less about being the best and more about the challenge in building a character as good as I can within a set of constraints, I love trying to figure out a way to make a character with a crippling flaw actually work. I dont need to be the best fighter in existence, but being the best one armed deaf fighter wielding a whip is another story. Creative, fun, and compelling characters are so much more fun for me to play than powerful characters. And in the end the story trumps any mechanics, I dont mind having my character die a horrible death if it is compelling for the group. In fact one of my favorite characters died and I even refused the parties attempt to resurrect him because it was more compelling for him to remain dead. Anyways if anyone is running a game and would be interested in another player please let me know, I really want to get into another group and start making new friends and good memories.
