[LFG] [5e] [GMT +0] New to 5e and Roll20 - Flexible RP Centric Gamer (Video and Voice)

Hello, I'm a 29 year old guy from London and I've been finding it a little bit difficult to find a group that games during the week in the evenings (GMT). Actually, I'm half tempted to set up a game and DM myself if I can find players but no DM... Ideally I'm looking for a gaming group from 7 PM GMT during the week (Monday-Thursday). Tuesday would be the best for me. Also, definitely would like to game with people willing to do video and voice. So I want to throw this out there: Anybody interested in trying out a gaming group around the time specified? Although I've only ever DMed Star Wars D20 games, I'd honestly be willing to give DMing a go if a bunch of people here are also looking for an evening week session. 

You earlier responded to my LFG thread, and yes I would be interested in playing. Could you possibly add this game to the 'games' section of the website so you could add me and I could bookmark this game?

Haha, awesome! It looks like we might just have a group! First my apologies in advance. Truly, I have never DMed a D&D game (or played Roll20). I will be heavily relying on the experience of Timabant if that's ok! Hopefully I won't suddenly just start talking about Blaster damage and Twi'leks! To keep this momentum, I will actually set up a game for Tuesday Night 16th 7:00 PM. Hopefully people are OK with this. There's the 4 of you in this topic, so I'll say 1 DM + 5 Adventurers (which means there will be one slot open). Video is (a recommended) optional but I do want to insist everybody having Voice. Having both will be highly encouraged! Shall we say Skype for everybody? Or please suggest another system (I'm good with any like Google Hangouts etc). I will try to figure out something today and probably give details tomorrow morning. Basically I'm thinking of a "one-shot" for the first session or two just to get a feel about everybody and honestly, it will give you guys a feel about me. And hopefully this will lead to something bigger. If not, no harsh feelings :-)

So that's everybody here invited now. We will have 5 would be adventurers if everybody accepts which means we will not be asking for any other additional gamers at this moment. First session is on the Tuesday 16th 7:00 PM (GMT). Please let me know if you can't make that slot. If there are drop outs etc. I will update this thread again. I've actually spent a chunk of today figuring out Roll20 and I even created some battle maps. Just trying to figure out Macros now. Yay. Hopefully the first session won't be too disastrous.

Just want to bump this as a player dropped out. So this game has just got started now and there's two sessions under my belt. The party went from 5 to 4 and I feel like a 5 person party set up is best so a slot is now available. I've PMed James only a two days ago so he will get first dibs if he replies by Friday night (GMT) but please post here or PM if you're interested and I can give you the details. You will need to be able to commit to a Tuesday 7:00 PM (GMT) schedule and voice is mandatory. Actually, everybody has video and voice over Skype at the moment in the party so highly encourage you to do the same. The party consists of a fighter, a warlock, a rogue and a bard at the moment. I'm quite happy for you to choose your own class but I think the preference at the moment is for a ranger character. No tiefling or dragonborn races.

Hi,  I'm early 30's based in Warwickshire and would love to get involved in this if there is still space. A couple of warnings I am extremely new having never played DnD before or used Roll20 (apart from the tutorial and having a play around with it). My experience consists of having read the players handbook and listened to the Drunks and Dragons podcasts. I have always had an interest in DnD but never had the opportunity to play it before. I would be willing to create a ranger character, probably human. I can use skype but don't think I still have my old webcam, might be able to pick one up though.
