Map problems & sound

I know there's a forum for technical issues, but since I'm just learning Roll20, I wanted to check 1st before I submitted an official issue. I'm getting ready to start a campaign for the 1st time, so I'm flipping between a number of maps I've created.  After about an hour of that, one of the maps lost all a lot of it's graphics.  It was mostly a blank white grid, with a single tree & a few pieces of text I'd written on the map.  Then as I continued to work on the other maps, it started slowly happening to the others too.  Most of the graphics on all layers disappeared.  Finally I closed the instance & reopened it & it was fine again for a while .One map had its graphics disappear more than once.  & each time, it seemed the same objects disappeared. I am running 2 instances of Roll20, both in Chrome, on my system.  I'm logged into 1 with a GM account, & logged into the other with a player account, & have the player account instance being displayed on a 2nd monitor.  Both instances had this problem.  Could this be due to running both instances in Chrome?  Or is my system over taxed?  After the graphics disappear, no matter how many times I try switching between maps & resizing things to get the maps to redraw, they graphics stay gone.  They only come back after I close & reopen the instances.  On a possibly related note, about the same time the graphics started to disappear, the Tabletop Audios I have loaded stopped playing.  I have a track set up to play on each map.  They wouldn't play neither when the page would load, or when I tried playing the track in the jukebox sidebar window.  Sometimes they'd play for a split second when I started them, but then they'd stop again. Thanks for any help

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. I would say that qualifies as a potential bug. I'll move this thread to the correct forum for you. Let's carefully work through Steps 1 through 8 of the Roll20 guide to Audio Visual Troubleshooting : Step 1: Make sure you’re using the most recent version of either Chrome or Firefox Step 2: Give Roll20 permission to use your microphone and camera Step 3: Make sure Video and Voice are turned on inside Roll20 Step 4: Clear your Web Browser’s Cache Step 5: Make sure you have the right ports open Step 6: Check if your camera is working with WebRTC Step 7: Check that your camera is functioning Step 8: Do a bandwidth test If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 9 : Step 9: Solving Technical Issues Step 9.2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please be sure to disable all extensions/add-ons as well as all anti-virus programs. Step 9.4: Provide a bug report Please ensure that the console log is complete. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the help and moving my post to the tech support forum. I am running my game with all the players in person, & only using Roll20 to show the dungeon graphic layout.  No other system than mine is logging into Roll20.  I have 2 instances of Google open, using 2 separate accounts, one GM acct & 1 player acct.  So since I'm not using voice or video at all, would steps 2, 3, 6 & 7 still be needed? I did do steps 1, 4, 5 & 8, & everything checked out. I should say I am using my work laptop & might have been logged into my work VPN at the time of the problem. Also, I don't know if this would matter, but some setting on the laptop makes all google based apps think I'm in Portland even though I live in Sacramento.  Every time I open google maps, it defaults to show Portland.  & all the adverts shown on youtube are for Portland base businesses.  I've not been able to fix this no matter how many times I search through my google settings. Thanks

Sorry you're having issues, Cavalier. In this case the thing that would be most helpful for me to be able to help you is step 4, pasting the console log, from the  Step 9.4: Provide a bug report step. This will provide me with a lot of information to try and help you figure out this issue, if it is an issue with Roll20.
