Instead of repairing the lost technology of the Ancients, it was beginning to create it’s own technology, with developed metalworking, steam engines, and ingenious but simple devices to not only complement dwarven effort, but also sometimes replace it. Unfortunately his thieving habits led to him needing to abandon this, and he gained a petty revenge by betraying them to a large Raider Gang. These he worked with as a fixer, soon resenting what became essentially indentured slavery. As was his wont, he stole what he could and fled.
