[LFG] Shadowrun 5e. Flexible availability.

I have yet to play in a game of Shadowrun, though I have played through Dragonfall and Hong Kong, so I at least have a nominal understanding of the setting. It's hard to find a group to play with near me, and so I'm turning to you, the internet! Is there anyone, particularly a GM, looking for a game to play/run? Voice only, though I'm fine with any program that one might use to do it. Definitely interested in slightly heavier RP focus over pure combat. Lots of intrigue and intense situations. My body is so ready.
dont know of any gms but I would love to play. any days except saturday, sunday and tuesday.

Let's see, I've played and run Shadowrun for roughly 15 years now. I started with 3E which is roughly the timeline of Dragonfall and Hong Kong as they still have the old Decks that jack into your skull instead of a wireless 'trix that is literally EVERYWHERE. I could GM this if we can get a group of players that are like you focused on RP over pure combat. My idea would be to start you guys on street to low level and then take you slowly through all the stuff that is Shadowrun 5E, starting in Seattle of course and then maybe expanding it into campaigns that take you all over the world.
I would actually be interested in playing in a shadowrun game if the scheduling could work. I played shadowrun in 1st and 2nd editions (dating myself) and ran a short game in 5th. Scheduling would be the difficult part since I DM a DnD game plus have family and work commitments.

What timezone are you in and what would be the most comfortable times and days for you, David? Edit: And we can always go for running it every two weeks instead of once a week.
Eastern timezone, every 2 weeks is how I run my DnD game on monday nights so that could work. Kids go to bed around 8pm so after that time is good with my stop time depending on if I am on shift the next morning or not. Generally I would be good until at least midnight. Thursday evenings after 830 would probably be the best though I could have some flexibility on tuesdays and wednesdays and the mondays that alternate from the game I run.
Ugh, that's not doable for me. I am GMT+1 ... so EST+6h, which means I can do Monday-Thursday 2PM-6PM EST, Fridays and Saturdays being more flexible since I don't work weekends, but there is a slight limit on the latest start time because at some point I just won't be awake enough to run a game properly and Sundays the game can start whenever, but it has to end latest 6PM EST (again because work the next day).
Darn. I try to keep my off weekends free for family time (work every other) and while on my weekdays off I am home during that 2-6 time frame I have an almost 2 year old and a 4 year old running around plus the 6 year old that would come home mid game time that would prove to be to distracting probably to keep a smooth game flow. Maybe this thread will interest some other people who can fit our schedules more accordingly :)
I've got Fridays and Sunday afternoons free (GMT) so I'd be up for a game.
Let's see if anyone else responds. I'm currently building the basics of the game aka filling it up with JackPoint entries ... cuz I'm awesome like that. :P

I would be interested. I have been playing/GMing shadowrun for 3 years now and I do like a more RP focused game I have Friday and Sunday nights off and I am in GMT+1
Alright, count me in. I've been GMing shadowrun for a few months now, so I'd love a chance to play for once. I've got most evenings off (GMT) so it shouldn't be too hard to fit this game into my schedule.

If there's any room left I'd love to participate. I'm on PST, and have Saturdays and Sundays free, and most evenings PST. I've been looking for a chance to get into a shadowrun game for ages now. It's been months since I've been able to get into one.
Nice! Looks like we have myself, alaizia, David, sierra, lucas, issac, and brett as potential players and shin to run. Pretty large group to what I'm used to.
Oki ... I created a listing, mostly because I gotta make sure that everyone mixes nicely and fits together. Ignore the current number of open slots, since that is extendable, but I know that some won't agree on the time/date slot (although that is still not set in stone) and some won't agree with the way I run things: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/42183/the-good-... I'm gonna put up a post today, explaining a bit more about how I run games ... so that there is no surprise and people being disappointed. :) Btw, I might even run two groups. I do have a plot line that would make them even run in the same overarching background plot ...
Welp that doesn't seem like it'll work for me.
