LF 1-2 players for MTG RPG

Hello, I will be DMing a game for two of my friends who live on opposite ends of the state, which is why we are using Roll20. I have run and played in games successfully on Roll20, but never when i tried to recruit an entire group from the forums so hopefully only half a group will go better.  The Game,  I want to use Strands of Fate to play a Magic the Gathering RPG. If you aren't familiar with the system that is fine, some familiarity with what MTG is would be nice. I stopped paying attention after Tefari reset the way planeswalker's worked so if you have stayed current you may have to deal with me ignoring some lore, or more accurately no knowing some lore.  You all will be playing planeswalkers whose spark just activated. So while you will be "love level" you will still be planeswalkers. I am going to try throw in a mix of iconic and original planes. Ravnica will probably be the "hub" of the campaign and most adventures stemming from it. However I am going to try to keep a lot of the lore planeswalker's to a minimum so they don't out shine the party and solve all the problems, but you will definitely get to see them. ' I plan on having one maybe two sessions where the group talks about how the system works, what we want to do with the campaign, and then character creation and back story.  If you could leave a message here if you are interested that would be great.
If anyone has any suggestions about an alternative system I would love to hear it.
I'm kinda confused if you're playing the card game and importing/exporting decks, or if this is an actual RPG?
There is a third party system that uses the cards, I have played it before and wouldn't mind playing it again. I would prefer to use Strands of Fate, which is a system using the fudge system.
