Marvel Universe RPG

I'd like to put together a MURPG campaign, either on Sunday afternoons or 8:30-9:00 pm EST. If you're not familiar with the system it's very easy to learn and is based on resource allocation. I have all the books. My plan is to start prior to the formation of most of the well-known hero affiliations (X-Men, Avengers, etc.) and make changes to develop an original interpretation of the characters. So if you're interested in seeing a different take on the Marvel Universe, shoot me a message and I'll let you know more.
I have questions... One, video, voice or text? Two, which Marvel system is this?  I'm assuming that it's one of the newer ones.  I'm used to the old FASERIP system, but that was called "Marvel Superheroes." Three, when you say "prior to the formation of most of the well-known hero affiliations," do you mean that we'd be retro heroes (let's do the time warp, again)?  Also, would this be cinematic timeline (reasonably current), printing timeline (back in the fifties) or "Marvel Time" timeline (probably late eighties or early nineties, since the Marvel universe is less than twenty years old in comic time)?
It's literally called MURPG, I'm familiar with the FASERIP system but I'm not a big fan of it. This one is a little easier to learn and faster to play with. And as far as the setting goes - we would start in the modern world as-is and create our own Marvel timeline. I'd include lots of favorites from comics and movies as well as make some original characters, but I would be very liberal in making my own versions of Marvel characters to keep things fresh.
Oh and we'd play here on Roll20 via voice and/or video
I'd be very interested in joining. MURPG was my favorite system in that it seemed based more on roleplaying and description over mechanics (at times). Sunday evenings would have to be it, though, as I have prior commitments to keep between lunch and dinner on Sundays. Lets do something tonight. lol.

Why's that Megan? Would Skype work better for you?

I'm interested.  I've never played MURPG, though I've played most of the other superhero RPGs around, but I've heard MURPG is easy to pick up and I'm curious how it comes together.  What really stuck out for me in the post was this:  Philip N. said: My plan is to start prior to the formation of most of the well-known hero affiliations (X-Men, Avengers, etc.) and make changes to develop an original interpretation of the characters.  There's a few games I've encountered in roll20 where you play actual characters from comics.  That's new to me, I've always created my own characters, and I really appreciate the idea of providing my own gloss, read, or variation of a character that I'm going to try and role-play.  Comic book characters have gone through so many incarnations and shifts (not to mention the different media ...), that it'd be nice for me to find the one that suits me best.  There have got to be an even dozen different versions of Wolverine that are all true to the character.   New campaign idea ... Crisis of Infinite Wolverines ...  P.S.:  I'm a voice player.

I'm in this game, so far we've got a black ops speedster/social guy and an HK-47 style robot. Probably looking for just one more person. Send Philip a message and see if you can get in. We're playing Sunday nights. The game looks to be leaning towards dynamic, morally gray characters, no typical hero stereotypes so far. It can go any direction.
I would be interested in playing. I am not familiar with the system, but I tend to pick up systems pretty quick.
I've never played this system before. But since I cant seem to find a Mutants and Masterminds game. I'd like to sign myself up for this. If you'll have me.
