Players can't see ruler or pings

Hi, so I just started a new campaign up a couple weeks back, and for some reason I'm having an issue where my players can't see my or each other's rulers/pings. I can still shift-ping to move their screens, but no visual indication comes up where I click for them (though I can see it). The same with rulers.Hi, so I just started a new campaign up a couple weeks back, and for some reason I'm having an issue where my players can't see my or each other's rulers/pings. I can still shift-ping to move their screens, but no visual indication comes up where I click for them (though I can see it). The same with rulers. I searched around and this thread was the closest I could find: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2015984/slug%7D but none of the solutions there seemed to do the trick. I've tried Chrome and Firefox, disabling extensions, disabling character sheets, clearing the chat log, and of course I've triple-checked I'm on the right layer. It does seem to be specific to this new game, however. While it's the same problem on every map, with or without a grid, I checked a previous campaign and could see the ruler/pings without any trouble. The only features I've really used this time that I hadn't in the past where a character sheet (but like I said, I did remove it to try that out), a deck of custom cards, and the journal. So unless one of those is interfering in some way, I'm stumped about what it could be. If anyone has an idea for what I should try next, that'd be greatly appreciated!

You mentioned that you've tried Clearing your Current Chat Log . Could you try Clearing your Chat Archive ? Otherwise, it might be helpful if you (and your players) could provide us with the information from Step 4 of our guide to Solving Technical Issues , most importantly Console Logs . Also, please locate the games details page of the game in question and provide us with a link to that page, which should look like this: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/123456/

Oops, guess I shouldn't have tried posting this right before I slept, I must have missed that step. And yes, I've tried clearing my chat archive too. Web Browser: Chrome and Firefox Browser Version: Chrome: 49.0.2623.75 m, Firefox 44.0.2 Operating System: Windows 7 If Javascript is enabled: yes Your anti-virus software: Avast, fully up to date. List of any browser add-ons or extensions enabled: currently all disabled. I took a look Console Logs, and the first two entries look like errors and are marked in red, so maybe something to do with them? app.roll20.net/:12 Refused to execute inline script because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-eval' https://*.googlesyndication.com https://*.doubleclick.net https://*.googlesyndication.com https://www.googletagservices.com https://*.googlesyndication.com https://www.google-analytics.com https://*.googlesyndication.com https://d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net https://*.googlesyndication.com https://*.firebaseio.com https://*.googlesyndication.com https://*.opentok.com https://*.googlesyndication.com http://www.google-analytics.com". Thank you. I've brought your issue to the attention to the Roll20 Dev Team, who will take a look.
Awesome, thanks!

Hey Jam, sorry you're having "ping" issues, I have a few questions and suggestions for you to see if we can't get this fixed: Is this happening for all players in that game, or just some of the players? I saw that you said you tried a few of the steps in the Solving Technical Issues wiki, but did your players also try these same steps? I didn't see if you had cleared you cache, sorry if I missed it, so could you and your players also be sure to try this step? Another test I would like to try is: create a new account and invite it to this game to see if you are able to see your own pings. You can join the game with both accounts at the same time by using "Incognito" mode with one and your normal browser window with the other.
Hey Phil, thanks for the response! I just got one of my players to come on and test it out like you suggested, and it seems to be working fine now, we can both see everything. Not sure what's different from before, but I guess it's solved? Sorry I didn't try a bit more before posting, but thanks again!

Hey, it's no problem, I'm just glad everything decided to start working for you. It's crazy how many things "clearing your browser cache" will fix, it's always where I start if I have issues on basically any web site. Good luck in your games, and have fun measuring and pinging things! Since this appears to be fix, now, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. If you have any further issues feel free to start a new thread.
