Is importing images from a campaign copyright infringement?

I had been scanning maps and portraits to be used in a campaign when I started wondering if the company would think of it as infringement. Yes I legally own the book, no I'm not planning on broadcasting it to the world, and yes the title page has the company and authors name on it so I am not citing it as my own work. I think it is 'fair use' but am I wrong? Also just to be on the safe side the opening page of the campaign ,as well as a player handout, I will be include statement that this is not my work and all credit goes to the IP owners which is 'open game content' and a copy of their open game license (I think somewhere is all that legal jargon it states the a copy of the license has to be displayed with all content handed out). Any ideas? Kevin

That is non-commercial personal use and is not copyright infringement (the usual finding in U.S. courts). Giving credit by including the title page is nice, but not a factor.  Even the fact you bought the book is not really a factor.  The important fact here is your use of the material is non-commercial, so there are no damages to the copyright holder, so there is no case for copyright infringement.  Not a lawyer and you should retain a lawyer if you think you're in a situation, but from someone who has studied copyright law I'm happy to tell you that in my opinion you have nothing to worry about with re-using any published materials in any limited-attendance free-admission noncommercial Roll20 game.
Thanks Gold! that's what I figured but thought better to ask others opinions.
