[Help] Macro Spell Damage without displaying Number of Dice to the Players

hello me again. I am currently in the process of filling out the character sheets for my villains. In the spells section of the Ad&d Sheet, I am adding the spells including a die roll for damage (i.e. Magic Missile).  The thing is, I want to hide the number of dice I am rolling for damage and simply show the cumulated result to the players. So the Magic Missile of my Master Vampire M-U makes 10D4+10 Damage. To the Players I only want to display the cumulated result in the chat log not the result of each die. So they can tell which level my vampire is. Is that possible? And if not, can I generally somhow suppress displaying the single dice and only display the result? rgds JT

Hi Jan, if you nest your roll it will only show the result with a hover-over tool tip: [[ [[10d4+10]] ]] A normal roll ( [[1d4]]): A nested roll ( [[[[1d4]]]]): [edit] woot, i roll a 4!
However, if you're splitting the damage up... you won't be able to see the results of each individual die either.
I am not sure about the macro possibilities but is it possible to create a macro like (this is semantically not correct, simply describing the algorithm)?: - Do a gmroll with the appropriate dice (i.e. 10D4+10) - chatting the result into Chat for all players So I achieved what I wanted. I (the gm) see my dice split up and the Players and me see the cumulated total. Can I do this is one script? Keep on gaming JT
Not without using the API, which requires javascript programming and a Pro subscription.
