darkvision and torches or other lightsources on the same token.

So now that i run a campaign and have done for some while I see that when a player with darkvision ( 60 feet of seeing ) also having a torch in his hand cause of the other members do not have darkvision or they have low light vision so they must have a lightsource anyway I find it extremely annoying that i can only set that players can either see the torch light ( 40/20 ) feet or they must be able to see as far as the darkvision player have ( 60/60 ) feet, even though a torch only gives out 40/20 feet of light.   Wouldn't it be better if there were seperate for the tokens view and then one lightning for what everyone else can see on that token how much light it gives out?  anyone else thought about this idea or is it just me?
You can do what you want by grouping tokens together.  have the character token with the darkvision stats and then a torch token grouped with it (wither an identical token or send it to the back).  I don't know if the devs will ever be able to accommodate every vision type in dynamic lighting.  5e darkvison can't really be achieved to strictly match the rules with the ability for dim lighting overlaps to turn into bright light.  All you can do is find the best compromise
I know that, so far I'm having the players have a separate token for example a torch, even though it's annoying.  like this is how much your character can see and this is how much a character gives out light, instead they are together right now I just think it would be easy to have like one more line of vision on a token, but then again, i can't code stuff at all.
