LFP - 1 more for D&D 3.5e Homebrew setting (GMT+1)

Life happens and we have lost a few players - I already had some waiting in the wings though, so we are only in need of 1 more player. Next session will be this coming Thursday evening for about 5 hours, next session will be the Monday after that for the same amount of time and will make Thursday sessions optional as Monday is better timewise for one of the current groupmembers, so if you are flexible for those two days that would be ideal. We play on roll20 with Teamspeak for voice communication, webcams in roll20 are purely optional. The group currently consists of an elven druid, an orc cleric, an elven ranger and a halfling rogue. Anything else would be welcome, really, whether it be an arcane magic wielder or an additional someone (aside from our cleric and possibly druid) for the front lines. The character would need to be somewhat grey though, not completely goody two-shoes to encourage roleplayed discussions, conflicts and a truce or two among the player characters. The new player will have to create goals, motivations, fears and the likes for their character. The game is sandbox-like and character driven, the GM provides the world, npcs (and their motivations/goals/fears) and of course (hopefully) interesting scenarios as well as an overarching plot. The world will usually react somewhat realistically. Again, this game is very interaction-, mystery-, story- and just roleplay-heavy in general which will inevitably make the game feel very slow for the action-loving types, so if you are not into that, don't apply. (And yes, people new to roleplaying are very much welcome) For a brief description of the setting and more information on houserules and what is expected from the players as well as the GM, go check out the campaign page here: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/8343/two-worlds If you have configured your roll20 settings correctly, you should also be able to see our starting time for the next session in your timezone. If you have read all the available information and are interested, send me a pm or post here so we can decide on a good time for an interview via Teamspeak.
Hello, your link comes up as 'not authorized'... If you haven't listed your campaign in LFG (or pulled it from there) then only invited players would be able to see it. I'm fairly new to roleplaying games, I recently attended a gaming convention where I had my first tabletop RPG. I've done theatre work before though, and found it very similar to that, but less random than pure improvisation. If that's not an issue for your group, or you want to have me along to a session and we'll see how it plays out, let me know. Neither time-slot is an issue, and I'm not mic shy. In MMO's and CRPG's I prefer caster classes, so an arcane class should be no stretch for me. Once I can see the world history I can pull together a backstory in a few hours.

Thanks for the heads up, Greg S., I listed the campaign in the lfg tool now so hopefully the link gets you somewhere :) Looking at your post history made me curious, does that mean you will only be able to join/play in about two weeks time?
Is this open for people that never played d&d before? Or is it too much to ask?

@Rui G.: The campaign is definitely open for people new to d&d and even roleplaying in general. In fact, thats why I originally created this homebrew setting way back when.
Well, I do have the time. I live in Portugal so there's a 1h time difference, but that doesn't stop me from playing. I like the fact that the game is more character driven instead of just constant fighting and would be really interested in creating a character and it's backstory with that in mind, although I would probably need some time and help getting it ready. But it's something I have no problem spending time thinking about, as sson as I get information about the world and it's history. Consider me interested in being a part of this.

Hi, I checked out your link, but it says 'No Listing'. I presume that means you found your player? I'm in the UK and am new to roll20, have started playing Fantasy Craft with one group, but want more game time. Let me know if you are still looking. Cheers.
Yes, we basically had a big interview group this evening and found our player. Thank you for your interest, though.
@Mouse, It's possible... I'm a US player who spends a lot of time on GMT 0 for various work and personal reasons. Once I had the start time I'd know for certain exactly when I would or wouldn't be available compared to your game.
