map problems

created my own world using tiles to represent different terrains to make my world it was all lined up when i was finished. now it seems that they are slideing out of alignment and the whole thing is on the map layer. the map is 95x95 thats a lot of tiles to move one by one, is there any way to fix this faster? on a side note is there a way to get a table to do a die roll and display a picture secretly?
You could try grouping all tiles as one object (assuming they are all out the same). You'll probably need to zoom way out to see the whole map to select all the tiles and group them. Then you can realign them to the grid as one unit. I don't use roll tables so can't help there.
they are half a square off and some overlap others.would that still work?
I had this issue recently. Making big maps can be a pain. I had one tile in the sw quadrant and one in the nw quadrant with a little gap with some white showing. I think it might have been because I used snip-tool to take a portion of the map and drop it into gimp to make it partially transparent. But then the size was a little off, or something, and it didn't fit right when I put it back (even with snap to grid). I'm sorry to say, the only fix I found was to shift each of those (about 120) tiles a bit until the gaps closed up. And I still have two tiny gaps you can see if you look hard enough. Wish I had a better answer for you. 8P I just recently learned how to make rollable tables/tokens, so I'm not sure if you can display the picture secretly.

Rollable Tables: You can use the /gmroll or /gr command to roll a rollable table with images to the GM: /gr <num>t[<table name>] See: https://wiki.roll20.net/Card_Decks_and_Rollable_Ta... If you need to whisper it to a player, there isn't a way to do that with images. Map Tiles: I'm not sure I quite understand the issue you're having with the map, are you saying that all of the tiles are shifted half a grid square left and down? You can use ctrl/cmd-a to select all graphics, then drag the one at the top left to the right place. If the offset is not the same for all tiles, that will only fix some of them. More details?

that almost helps aaron just half to figure out how to have it do a die roll as well. basically i'm making a random monster table but i want it to give me the no appearing and a picture so i know what kind of token to put out. i tried putting the formula next to the name of the creature but nothing happened all i got was this (To GM):[[1d100*1000]] Insect Swarm or when i take the brackets out all i get is this (To GM):1 no matter the die roll it is always 1
no the map tiles only shifted half a grid left and thats it they didn't shift down. i try and fix them one by one they slide left and eventually i get a whole square som i dont know how this has happend. what other info you need aaron?

Rollable Tables do not natively support embedding inline rolls, but can be done with the API (Pro Subscriber Perk). On the Map Tiles, maybe a screen shot to show what it's doing? Are you using a particular set from the Market Place?
