Starting with roll20... Question about map aligning/resizing tiles

Hi all, I recently started to work with roll20 and I'm still just trying out in a test environment to get the hang out of it. Now I stumbled upon a few noob questions where some of you might help me. 1.) Map Alignment: I watched the tutorial video as well as reading the forum and the wiki. So in theory, I know what to do ;) However, there is a strange behaviour in the tool which I don't know if it's normal or I'm just doing it wrong. Here's what happens: I make a new page and import a map. I then right click to align it to the grid. Now it's "almost" correct sizewise. To make the fine adjustments, I want to move the map under the grid. So I press ALT (to get rid off the snap-to-grid) and move it to the correct position. So far, so good. But now comes the problem... if I release the button first and then ALT, the map still sticks to my cursor.. so if I move the mouse, it drags the map around. However, if I release ALT first and then let go of the mouse button, it snaps back to the grid. The only way I found which is not messing things up is to hold ALT and LMouse, then press RMouse to bring up the context menu, release all butons/keys, then LMouse to get rid of the context menu. It seems a pretty complicated way to do it? But where is my mistake? What am I doing wrong? 2.) I bought Greg Talyors pack "Dungeon Blanks I" to get some first selfmade dungeons. The tiles work amazingly and it's easy to align them. The map also includes some doors to add. Now in the description for the pack (or better said in the description tile for the pack) it says: "When setting the tiles, the final dimensions of each are: 30 ft x 30 ft for tiles 1 ft x 1 ft for doors (...)" Now for tiles that is 'easy'... I pull in the tile and then double it's size (because my grid has 5ft squares and the tile is 3x3). But how do I set the size of a door to 1ft x 1ft? I can manually resize it down but then it's more like 1 ft x 5ft.. (although it looks great). In addition, I have the same problem with moving it like I have with the map. I press ALT to free-move it, put it to the correct spot, but then have to do the RMouse-Button trick again, otherwise it snaps back or keeps attached.... very strange... I'm sorry if they are noob mistakes, but it's an annoying behaviour I can't explain :(
If you want to ignore the snap with certain pieces that you import completely you can click the is drawing option -- that means it can be moved freely and will never snap to grid.
