[LFGM] Group of Players Wanting To Play Something In The Superhero Genre

Hey there. I come from a group of players who game together regularly, and recently we've been looking for someone willing to be awesome enough to run something for us in the superhero genre. Mutants and Masterminds/ICONS/Wild Talents/Etc. are all viable systems. We're all pretty experienced and would be able to come up with concepts pretty quickly that would make for a fun campaign. So, any takers? We can negotiate day and time. Reply here or hit me up with a PM if you're willing to give us a shot!
BUMP. Someone has to be interested... right?
I can run Daring Comics, a fate based super hero game, but I would run it by text and not by voice. If you ask me why the answer is simple: english is my second language and I read and write better than I speak english
Hey thanks for the offer! Would you be willing to maybe try voice, though? Just to see how it goes? If not, I understand, and we could still try text.
I've actually been toying with an original "super power" setting using Savage Worlds. Something along the lines of the movies Chronicle or Watchmen: An incident would leave the players with unique abilities and they'd be the only "super" people in the world. A gritty, realistic depiction of super abilities and the world's reaction to them. I've even toyed with the idea of not letting the players pick which power they receive - adding to the realism. It's not like Spider Man went into that lab planning to get bit by a radioactive spider. If you woke up tomorrow with the ability to fly - what would you do? Hide it for fear of world-wide panic? Use the power for good, evil, or self-gain? Get a corporate sponsorship and revel in the fame? Work for the government? Actually don a costume and try to change the world?
Man I loved Chronicle. I think it was a very good take on the ordinary people suddenly turned extraordinary genre. I'm really down with this, and I'm positive so would the rest of the group. I think most of us have a little experience with Savage Worlds, too.
Hey, I'm a member of the titular Group of Players and I just wanted to chime in.  I like the idea of a Chronicle style campaign, though i'm not a huge fan of Random Powers.  As a slight change to the concept (and a bit more in line with a Chronicle style Campaign) how would you feel about the idea of all powers being Psionic in nature, and each of us choose a single power and then develop different, related abilities over time?
I can run M&M or Champions. I just finished writing a Cities of Heroes campaign but if you'd want me to host I cant for at least another 3 weeks.
I also can run Superhero LITE which is a more roleplay oriented system using a basic d20 set. Anything microlite takes like about 10 minutes to read and fully understand the game haha.
All of those sound great, especially M&M or Champions. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have a problem waiting until you're ready and able to run.
