Dnd Next playtest (full)

I am wanting to start dming B2 keep on the borderlands with an emphasis on (but, not exclusive to) the caves of chaos using the dnd next playtest rules I want to play thurs nights 7:30 - 9:30pm CST You can use the characters creation rules or use a pre-gen provided in the newest packet. I am a 30+ yr old GM with 20+ yrs exp. I am not a rule's lawyer, a grognard, a munchkin, or an adversarial GM. I want everyone at the table to have a good time. I enjoy story and character development, as well as a good fight. I play dnd (all editons, "does it have Dungeons? Does it have Dragons? I am in!!!) and I find each of its iterations have something good to bring to the table and should not be a subject that divide our incredibly (proverbially) rich hobby. I am looking for 3 to 6 players. If you are interested holla back.
Im interested but that time wont work.
I could possibly change days. I could do same times mon-thurs. I would like to keep the 2hr format.
I run a DnD 4.0 game on thursdays from 4-8 MST (-6 i think) but otherwise later in the day works for me, wed or tue would be best. Havent played Next yet, normaly in 3.5 and pathfinder I play rogue (and do the rping heavly while assisting in combat at ranged) but in 4.0 they changed rogues enough that it doesnt fit with how I normally play them. How are rogues in Next?
The rogue seems to have high Dmg out, low HPs, and good with skills. Also, they are given different maneuvers that differentiate rogues. Check out the packet for and see for yourself.
Good day to you, doctor. I will join your Thursday game, or your other-day game, provided it doesn't fall on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Friday evenings.
So, I'm pretty much a novice at all things DnD, but that time works for me and I'm very interested in trying to get in on this. All told I've played like 4-5 sessions on here between two failed campaigns. Let me know if you're all booked up or are looking for more experienced players.
As long as we can get another player we can start the week after thanksgiving. We have a two weeks to grab another player or two.
I am interested. 7:30-9:30 CST on Thursday works great. I can't do Tuesdays, but Monday and Wednesday would also work if you need to move it for some reason. You can find me on Google+ here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/117532355355980125530/posts and email me at stanshinn@gmail.com.
It looks like Thursday it is. I have 2-3 others who have expressed interest else where so, we are a go. I will invite those who have expressed interest for thursdays to the game page
Awesome! On another note, I know many people who run D&D Next mostly using old school theater of the mind with no battlemat so if you wanted to run just with Google+ hangouts that another workable alternative. Also, you can share a whiteboard (even using Google Drawing documents) as another way to do battlemats / handouts, etc.
If anyone else is interested PM me. All other discussions about game will continue on the game page sent to those invited to game.
Where would one find the D&D Next packet?
