Testing the Waters

I want to see if there would actually be a player base to draw upon before embarking on preparation of running a game. With that bit of info out of the way, how many people would be interested in playing a "Legends of the Wulin" game set in a city and with a theme/mood akin to Kung Fu Hustle?

I'm totally down for this, provided that it does not conflict with my classes come September. If it looks like there's enough people to start a campaign, I'll speak more on the matter of scheduling. PS What are you going to do about the factions of the default setting? I need to for character building purposes.
I am planning on it being more organic. Devising some backgrounds to lay a foundation, then having the players meet up and discuss to flesh out the kind of game. But this all a big if. I might just post a game and see if it fills up. Either way it wouldn't be starting till mid September at earliest. Keep an eye out for it in the LFG around then. Though my schedule is very constricted due to Time zone and work, so hopefully things will work out.
I'm about halfway through character generation, and there's really only one thing I'd ask of you to incorporate in your setting: the survival of the Little Forest Sect into the modern era. Of course, it would only be thematically appropriate if it survived as a handful of sifu  in charge of a number of run-down martial arts schools.
