Labels above the Token

Is there anyway to move the Token Labels above the graphic instead of below? This seems very counter intuitive to me and most of our group and causes a lot of confusion. Thanks.
The health / other bars are above the tokens... not much room up there really.
yeah, id like to see nameplates and life bars get some placement options too... maybe they could do the bars on a vertical option and put them on either side of the character and put the plates above the head... with toggle options for each to customize... i dunno im with Randeth on this though....im just happy to HAVE a nameplate id even be cool with nameplates being smack in the middle of my monsters/characters... already gonna grab em an move em anyway, might as well aim for the nameplate
The nameplate really needs to fall within the same grid square that the token occupies. When the nameplate is placed outside of that grid square, it gets obscured by neighboring tokens, which negates most of the usefulness of having nameplates in the first place.
I have also found the name tags to be an issue when in combat with my players. Having the name tags on the token would help a lot. Having them below means that they obscure other tokens and make things confusing.
Name tags on the token can be fine, but definitely I wouldn't want to see them there all the time (they interfere with and hurt the readability of the images). To my mind maybe name tags on tokens could work better just when mouseovering them.
Agreed with mousing over items to see their name tags. I could also see an alphabetical list of tokens somewhere outside the map. You could only see the tokens you control and clicking a token in the list would automatically select your token. Double clicking would select and center your map on that token. For players, this list might be useful to have in their right-click menu. A "Go to..." option.
