Veteran looking for group as DM or Player DND 4.0 (Closed)

Hey all, I am a veteran player looking for a group to play with. I have mostly played DnD, but would be willing to try other games. I have been playing DnD4e, but started in 2.0, and spent a little over half a year with 3.5. Hopefully I can join a group/game,, but if players are patient I am willing to DM a 4e game. Hello, I'm fairly experienced in DnD4e, but have never gotten to be the player in a table-top game since I was always the DM who introduced Dungeons and Dragons to his friends. I'm really interested in a chance to be the player and see the styles of other DMs and players in the game. So if you start a group or find one that I could join in on that would be fantastic to know. For the next month I can be available most nights as long as I can get a day's notice. - Finnius

If you guys are getting something together I'm in for any of those days as a player. I have experience with D&D 4e but not much on Roll20.

I should be able to do Wednesdays and Thursdays on most nights. The upcoming 2nd/3rd I can't do though. My preference is Fridays, Tuesdays, and the weekend.

Well Guys, I got the first Day put together. We will be playing on Saturday nights starting at 1800 central time. Characters will be lvl1 to start and I am gonna need 4 more people.

I'm really eager to get into a game. I think that start time is quite workable for me, although I guess I'd like to know how long an average session lasts. I'm based in the UK so that'd be a midnight start time (but then as I often watch live NFL which involves staying up until past 5am so I'm far from adverse to late nights. I'm quite flexible, especially at weekends) I'd also warn that I'm a complete novice when it comes to P&P games like this, if that's a concern for you. Eager to learn though so I can convince real life friends to get into it with me. Thanks

Color me interested. I think that's a start time of 7 PM eastern, though. That could be an issue since that's usually around dinner time with my family. If the game could start at 8:30 PM EST, however, I could easily make that I believe. However, if I could pull this off, I would be interested in being a Sorcerer. What sources are you allowing? Possibly homebrew races if we can prove they're not OP? Also, I would like to ask will this be a heavy Roleplaying game? You know, with all sorts of character development goodies and stories and the like. Those are the best ones.

Cat F. - the time was set by my wife to be able to play as well, her works normally gets done at 1730cst, but I will see about moving it to later. As far as roleplaying goes, hopefully there will be plenty of it as I love those games, and players are rewarded for doing so. Update - Time has been changed to 1930CST, though I will be available earlier. as for Homebrew Races that will have to be on a Case-by-Case basis. I do Houserule alot of stuff though.
