"The cold wind blows from the northern marshlands south of the mountains down to the Crown City. A terror is on the rise, but when will it strike? Rumor of the old orc tribes planning an invasion stir in taverns, but are quickly hushed by naysayers. After all those orcs haven't been seen since the fourth age, why would they now plan to strike?" "A hunter is shaken up about what he saw out in the swamps. He says he saw the giant serpent through the murky waters, its head the size of a his own home. With teeth that could tear a cattle in half with one bite. He's told to shut up and stop drinking so much before he goes hunting in the swamplands at night." "Prince Andre, heir to the mithril throne, and lord of Blackwater is a name that is immediately scoffed at in any Crown City tavern. He has been taxing the people, chastising them for mundane and false crimes, and some say he was even responsible for the late death of his own father... but of course the king passed in his sleep at the ripe old age of 68." The World of Ichol is a sandbox based game. Whatever you do will shape the world around you. The campaign will be long term hopefully. I am willing to use different classes and custom races if I review them first. We will have around 4-5 players trying to keep the group small so each character gets the proper attention they need. This will be the first group to step into the sandbox world, so you are the first shapers. As for backstory on the world, i’ve written up some, and I am willing to accept some from the players. Rules We might use point buy/standard array, but I am willing to use rolls. Unique and different characters will be very welcomed. I am accepting any wizards of the coast published classes and races.(SCAG, EE, PHB, WBA,etc). Homebrew stuff will be reviewed. Gunslinger, Witch Hunter, and Bloodhunter have been added. So is witch hunter/blood hunter. This game will be heavily roleplay based, make sure you detail your character, and his or hers actions. The ratio between roleplay and combat will be around 50:50 keep that in mind, the most sessions will have at least one combat scenario, but rarely we may not have combat at all. (Schedule is up to debate) (A camera isn't a requirement, but its nice.) https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/43264/d-and-d-5e-ichols-journal-sauroman-empire
