D&D 5e game

Hi im fairly new to D&D but am keen to learn and have a rough grasp on the rules and playing. I have a premade character i made for another campaign which for some reason randomly stoped. The times that would work best for me would be on Thursdays and im usually free 3:30-9:00gmt i am fairly flexible with day and time if it doesnt work. Am looking for a campaign that will also dip a little into characters backstories on the side of the main quest

I don't have a game to offer you unfortunately, but it seems to be you're in the same boat as me, with very little knowledge of the D&D Universe, so I'd like to put myself here in the hopes that if a game pops up I might be invited to join you, as I am also keen to learn and have fun!
