Dynamic lighting

I was wondering if there was a way to change the color of the dynamic lighting?  For example I have a firepit that gives off the normal light that's provided with dynamic lighting.  But say I have a magical torch that sheds a purple light instead, is there a way to change that color of light for the given token?  I am using The Aaron's Torch API script as well.

The only way to do that currently is by using an aura on the token. Not an ideal solution, but a workaround.

The light can't be colored currently.  The only way to simulate this is to use a colored aura on the token, though the lack of control over the transparency of the aura makes this technique less than ideal.

When using the health aura API script it uses both aura's is there a way to add an addition aura that would not be used by that api?

Not really.  You can fake it with the API by adding an invisible token that follows another around and holds the aura, but it's somewhat tedious and less than satisfactory for most things.

I have 'faked' it in the past with a semi-transparent coloured token which i then resize to cover the desired area... works for adding a full screen murky effect too although worth noting that it will limit your ability to edit anything below it unless you first move it to the back ;) Doing it this way means you can alter your original with tints and even have semi/quarter circle options to defeat that pesky 'not through a wall' issue with auras, of course this gets tricky if the light source is mobile!!
