I'm an avid Magic the Gathering player, looking to role play in a world modeled after a plane of the multiverse. Tried joining one set in Ravnica using 5th edition D&D but hadn't gotten a reply when the posting was taken down. I know several systems : Pathfinder/D&D 3.5/D&D 5th edition, Savage Worlds, Shadowrun 1st/5th edition, Degenesis, Apocalypse World (wouldn't fit but I know it). I don't mind the mechanics but I just can't really get into the lore and races of D&D/Pathfinder games. MTG is great for themed games but I'm not confident enough to gm anything at the moment but have good input when handling mechanics and lore. Planes I'm interested in are: Kamigawa (A world modeled after ancient Japan at war with their own gods.) Ravnica (World spanning metropolis ruled by 10 competing guilds rife with intrigue instead of overt conflict.) Shards of Alara / Alara (A plane that was sundered into separate worlds ranging from idealic kingdom to a dark realm of undying horrors.) Innistrad (A gothic realm of humans beset by vampires, werewolves, ghosts and demons. Defended by warrior priests and enigmatic angels.) Tarkir (A world of several conflicting East Asian themed clans modeled after the dragons their ancestors hunted to extinction vying for control of the realm.) Fiora (A plane of perpetual renaissance. Every sleeve hides a dagger, every smile a lie. In the capital of Fiora—Paliano, the High City—murder and subterfuge are common.)
