Hi there, I run a 4th edition Eberron Game here on Roll20 with friends on Saturdays, but DMing that game has left me craving more, how much I miss 4E as a system, etc. I want to play 4E as a PC again. I mean, I know it might be hard to find a group since most people have seemingly jumped ship to 5th, but eh, it's just not for me, it brings back bad memories of 3.5. I might get roped into my brother's 5E/dnd next game as it is, even if I don't like it. So -I'd be happy to play in almost any setting when it comes to 4E, DM-created worlds are fine, and I do like published settings a lot in 4E (Just please not Forgotten Realms, it's nott hat I hate it, it's just back when 4E was current, I played a lot of Living Forgotten Realms RPGA stuff and got burned out on Faerun hard. Other campaign settings are cool with me, Dark Sun, etc are cool beans, and hey, if you are actually DMing Eberron like me. I TOTES WANT IN. I love 4E Eberron to death, DMing it has been a blast, and I'd absolutely love to experience it from the PC side.) -I generally don't optimize/tryhard/munchkin if I can avoid it. Not that I don't try to build a good character, I just really am not good at playing "optimally", and I just like picking the stuff I like and making a character I enjoy playing/roleplaying more than one that's gonna stomp every encounter. But that's why I love 4E, there was less risk of being picked on for not optimizing than other editions. -As far as roles go, I tend to fill to what the party needs, but I have the most fun when I'm playing Leader or Controller, but I'll happily play Striker. Defender is a bit more iffy, as it's the role I have the least amount of experience with, but I will play it if it's needed. -Please give me a nice friendly casual table to play at and scratch my 4E itch some more! I know chances of me finding a place are slim, but I'll put the feelers out anyway. If not, I guess I'll just have to settle for the game I'm running.
