Is there a place to download this from the hangout market or do each of my players have to start their own campaigns, launch it in Google Hangout, then delete the campaign, to get the app? This seems a little troublesome.
You don't need to run Roll20 in Google Hangouts to use our service. You can start creating a campaign directly from this site. If you would like to run a Roll20 campaign in a Google Hangouts, a GM just has to launch it from the Campaign Details page and invite their friends via Google Plus when the Hangout is made. If they don't have the Roll20 plugin for Hangouts yet, they'll be prompted to allow the app to work with Google Hangouts when they hop in.
As soon as someone in the Hangout starts the Roll20 App (the GM for example who selected "Launch game in Google Hangout"), it will appear in the bar on the left-side for the other players.
