Dark Heresy Player, looking for group and DM.

Hi there, I've got a pretty wide availability for days currently, and I'm looking to get in on a Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy game. I'm not terribly knowledgable about the system in terms of what I feel a DM should know, so I'll leave that to someone more qualified. If people are interested, I figure we can get a group going and have some fun. I'm hoping to play a Tech-Priest, and am open to most any time/day of the week choices, though I prefer nights.

I too am looking for a Dark Heresy group, I have little experience with the system, but am a regular 40K tabletop player and as such have decent understanding of the universe. Sounds great! I'll be sure to read up on the rules meanwhile, it's still all pretty new to me.

what time zone are you in? If its comfortable for Europeans to play along I would like to join. Im not familiar with the 40k rpg but I would like to learn.

Yep, the main thing is a DM, Lukas, what time zone ya in? Main thing will be getting people together who can meet around the same times and what not.

Unfortunately no, the Dark Heresy system is still pretty new to me. Hopefully we'll be able to find someone who's up for the task.

's okay, we never found a story teller anyway :le sigh: Which is a shame, because dark heresy looks like a lot of fun. I'm just not familiar enough with the system to run it.

Hello, there. I am a fairly experienced GM, who, while having mostly played the various D&D editions with a close-knit group of friends, is certainly capable of running a Dark Heresy Campaign. It might very well be a little shaky to begin with as I have not really done a lot of role-playing by microphone and Dark Heresy is a system I have used less than certain others. (D&D 3.5 for example) There has also been a regrettable amount of time since I was GM last time, which might translate to me being a bit rusty to begin with. I am quite well versed in 40k lore and believe myself capable of running a game for you people, if anyone is still around. Thought I'd reply here rather than start a new thread or a newly in a newly started one, since there seems to already be a group ready to go. I have a GMT+1 timezone and the days most suitable to me would be the weekends or, as long as we're not going too late, weekdays except Monday or Thursday. The exact details of all this would perhaps be most easily discussed in another place, though I would like to say that at least initially I would like to try and keep most of the action in our heads and use roll20 as a dice-roller and some quick-fire map drawing. OH MY GODS DARK HERESY DM'S DO EXIST. Also, I can do weekends, save saturday for now as I have a Mage the Awakening game that runs then until everyones work schedules shift again. That said, everyone in the group is okay with working around others's schedules. I'm pretty old school about games as well, prefering to go with imagination and verbal descriptions, using maps for ease of reference rather than perhaps a crutch, though I feel crutch is to strong of a word.

Sup. Interested veteran player here. Im also building a team of rotational GMs, if anybodies up for that. Atm im thinking about Dark Heresy, Ascension & Deathwatch. Which could be melded together. GMT +1 Weekends & Fridays Lets do this.

Temper - I guess the details of what you speak would be best discussed by PM:s. The idea sounds intriguing but would like some more information on what it would entail. I'll just go ahead and try to discuss all this in PM:s so as not to bump this thread unnecessarily.

Right, I suppose the best way of handling this right now would be that the people interested PM me. Perhaps with a bit of an intro. What kind of character you would prefer. Fridays seem to be the day most people I have seen are able to play, but that would still be up for discussion in the campaign forum. I will invite you there when things pick up.

I would also love to play a Dark Heresy campaign. I'm an avid reader of the 40k novels, collector and player of the warhammer 40k tabletop, and have played in a few DH campaigns with some friends. If you need another person to fill a spot, I'm interested. =)

I too would like to join in a Dark Heresy campaign. Sadly I am new to it but I do have the core rule book. I do live in Pacific Time Zone, UTC -8. I am very flexible on game time.
