Is it just me?

I find it really hard to navigate this site and the follow topic function doesn't work half the time. Is there any plans in the future to improve this sites UI?

Basically I go to looking for groups tab find a interesting group and If there isn't already a topic on Joining then I create one and ask for details and if they have room for one more. The trouble is I have on several occasions gotten replies but no notification therefor no way to view the reply other than relocating the group and post. Even in my profile page there doesn't seem to be any evidence I have made such a post/reply to a Group's page. I thought that following the topic would solve this issue but it seems that this function is not always reliable in fact more than 80% of the topics I have followed do not appear on my profile. Though this may be due to the GM deleting them in order to reduce clutter. Thank you for your time sorry my reply was so late.

Nortifications for PMs and followed topics should be in the top right corner next to the Welcome, Munkir.  If you are not getting a notification on that please let us know. It has not failed to work for me or others that I am aware of.  - Gauss
