[LFGM+Players] D&D 5E Monday around 6 pm Pacific (New to Roll 20)

Hello! I am new here, and I've been looking for a game around this time, however it seems I'm not nearly the only one! Most games are swamped with player applications and I've been unable to join one yet. Perhaps all of us LFG people could form a game? I'll tell you guys a bit about myself. My name is Chris and I'm 29, I've grown up with D&D and similar systems, however this will be my first time playing 5E. I love role-playing, story and a healthy amount of combat, and try hard not to break character. (I don't like meta gaming and won't necessarily have my character make the best decisions I could make as a player if he wouldn't do it as a character. That said, usually overly disruptive actions aren't good for the story or group, so if that situation arises, I'll try to find a way to make it work out). I also like lateral thinking and puzzles, and find that the best characters are the ones who are not all powerful gods effortlessly defeating their enemies, but rather flawed beings who rise to the challenge before them. I'm looking forward to playing a game with some new friends, just give me a message if you are interested!

You sound like my kind of teammate ;-)  Are you looking to play Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday or one of the three?  I'm not sure if this is something I could participate in or not just yet but I'm definitely interested.

I'm interested as well. I am in PST time zone, looking to play around 6pm too. Out of the days you listed, Mondays are best for me. However I am a new player and this would be my first time playing, so I understand if a completely new player is not what you're looking for. 

Im also interested although im UK time but its not an issue for me to time with the games i am almost completly new to playing. only had 12 hours which were a year ago and want to actually get into a weekly or fortnightly game to help me bridge into the greatness that is DnD

Ah, sorry I wasn't clear. I meant just one of those days whichever is best for all of us, unless we find a GM that is willing to do more and we all want another day, in which case we can add it later. It's great we seem to have significant interest, if someone is willing to GM we almost have enough!

Ha-ha time to edit the topic title to looking for DM :). What race/class is everyone interested in?  I have a bard I'm dying to play but I can be adaptable. Honestly I feel like I have a million character ideas in this noggin of mine.

Mondays seem to be good. I don't have any particular class set in mind, however I'm feeling in a Cleric/Paladin/Ranger mood, so whichever of those that fits with what the rest of the group wants to play.

I managed to find a game and dont feel i can commit to 2 games at once considering its a weekly game sorry guys.

/em Tosses Hat into the ring Hello all, I have been gaming, well forever it seems.  My first purchase was D&D module B1 In search of the Unknown and it was brand new on the shelf.  Yes I am an old man to boot.  <Get off my lawn you dang kids> I am new to Roll20 and this would be my first time DMing a game here but I think I am ready to take the tennis balls off the walker and run the type of game you are looking at judging from the comments. Let me know if this interests you all, ideally I would want 4-6 players running once a week in an ongoing game.  I am a West Coast transplant from the East but that puts me in the PST.   As far as the style of game I like to run it would be driven by the players, I will present options and barriers but the true direction of the game is up to you young'uns. PM me if this sounds like a good time for all and I will start working on what is needed to make this a glorious time. Now if you will excuse me I need another glass of prune juice.

It's cute how you think you're the only old one ;-) As far as what I'm looking for personally, I like character flaws and teamwork and thinking outside the box.  I want to love the characters and the group as a whole... I wanna feel things because we've had some awesome character development and we've all come together to create a great story.  I try to think in character... I'm a little shy so acting out AS my character might not always be easy for me but it's something I want to get better at, so hopefully you all don't mind being patient with me :) I'm in EST and 6PM PST is the perfect time for me.

Ok let us see the interest of the others but I love the idea of allowing character development, flaws and all.  My story will not be black and white, meaning there will be some morality issues the characters will have to deal with.  My games tend to be Role-Play/Puzzles/Intrigue/Combat.  I look forward to maybe running you folks through the world in my mind.  Currently working on an introduction to the world.

Hi all, if you still have room for another player, I'd love to join in! I'm a pretty new to pen-and-paper RPGs (and I'm new to Roll20), but I'm familiar with 5e and have been looking for a group to play with. I completely get if you all want more experienced players or if the game is full though =D My schedule is pretty flexible so I can be free at any of the listed times (and I'm in PST so it's pretty convenient to me0, and I'm happy to play any class/race. I love character driven stories and the experience of characters (and players!) getting to know each other over the course of the game. I enjoy writing as a hobby, so I really like the idea of realistic characters and a good mix of storytelling/role-playing and combat. Edit: I also looked at the game page, and I think it looks like a lot of fun. Let me know if you still have room in the game and/or are open to new player!

Hey everyone, I was looking at the campaign details and read through the thread. If you're still looking for another person I'd be willing to fill in. It seems this is a little last moment but I could write up a character and be ready for the start time. I've been playing all sort of tabletop games for awhile now. I'd be able to reliably fit Monday 6pm PST into my schedule. The setting and group sounds really interesting. I have been playing D&D/Pathfinder for around 3 years or so, 1 year of which has been with 5e. I'd prefer to play either an Illusionist Wizard or an Eldritch Knight if I got accepted into your group. Also I can start fleshing out backstories for either one if accepted, and I can be ready for the session tomorrow.
