LFG: UK Pathfinder Player, Evenings/Weekends GMT

Hi all, I'm new to roll20, but have been playing Pathfinder RL for the last 18 months or so. Anyone have a free space for a player? Flexible with characters, will always take the option that lets me give up any animal companions. My availability is after 19:00 GMT every day and most saturdays during the day as well. I live in Norwich, UK so happy to meet up any fellow locals for a pint!
I'm not exactly local to you, but I am in the same country! I've been finding it really difficult to find games around the same time as when you're looking at, so do you mind if I join your quest?
Welcome to the party Jack!

I live in the States :V but Pathfinder isn't that different for 3.5 and I'm looking for a game for the following character... I'm looking to play a Half-Orc Sorcerer with stats as close to this as possible STR 13 DEX 14 CON 15 INT 16 WIS 17 CHA 18 The character itself is fairly Magic The Gathering Based. While at the same time being a unique character. Who wields Red, White, and Green Mana. I would use my daily Spells by level and assign them Mana costs, and I would rename my spells (obviously I would make sure you knew what spells they really were) The character would be Chaotic Good, with a rather basic past. Both parents were part of a Party together, and they settled down to have a child. The father a Half-Orc Fighter, who was friends with many of the forest he grew up in. The mother a human Sorceress who loved chaos as much as protecting the innocent. Both of these traits were genetically passed down to Boros. (Yes his name is going to be Boros Selesnya.) More will be added to his personality and backstory if accepted. I have a daughter who I get every other weekend from Noon to 5 PM pacific time. So hopefuly that doesn't interfere with game schedualing.

Hi, Drew. I'm in your timezone and have been playing FantasyCraft (I'm actually an old AD&D 2nd ed player from waaay back). I'm interested in branching out on Friday and Saturday evenings and was just reading up on Pathfinder today. It's very, very similar to FantasyCraft so I'd be interested in joining any group that forms up around you, especially if it's Friday or Sunday evenings!!
Awesome, we have potentially 4! now all we need is a DM...
I'd DM but the only thing I can DM is D&D 3.5 And even then only basic core rules.
If you don't mind me joining your quest as well I would like to give pathfinder a try. I'm usually a 3.5 player but I'm game for pathfinder.
So we have 5 Players... I guess we now start trying to work out times. Whilst it very much depends on how quickly we find a GM, I'd be able to regularly commit to Monday or Tuesday evenings 7pm-11pm GMT.
any one wants to DM?

I might be able to DM for you guys. I will have to check my schedule and will give you some time and days tomorrow lunch time. Also can you answer questions bellow 1. Do you want a particular campaign setting or theme or is home few OK 2. If you do want a certain campaign setting or theme please list them. 3. Roughly what level would you like to start. My general rule is never above level4. 4. Please list all the players names Also some notes if I am hosting 1. I always use Skype to host my games so I normaly won't accept players that don't have a working microphone and skype account. 2. I am normaly not very restrictive in pathfinder about what people can take but the general rule is no 3rd part stuff unless it is cleared first by me and same goes for archetypes.
Getting a Skype account is easy... But mic chatting always feels awkward to me... But I do HAVE a mic. As for char/player name mine is Boros Selesnya. (You can refer to me both in game and out of game as Boros. Because I entwine myself with my characters. They are created from my personality and as such are extensions of me. Plus it's simpler.) As for home-brew I'm fine with that. Just make sure it's as in depth as you can possibly make it, and the one thing I ask of my DM's is never to force their views on who/what my char should be. That includes his actions. The DM is supposed to breed the world and the situations. The Players are supposed to be 100% responsible for their characters and their actions. And as for levels... Well since I'm not 100% familiar with Pathfinder I'd personally prefer 1, but I could probably manage up to 3.
Any setting you come out with is fine. My name is Oren. my character name is Aylon. I'm now researching the difference between PF and DND 3.5 so I think I would like to start at level 1 with faster xp for the first few levels(1-3/4).
OK i have been looking when i can host it and the best times for me are either Saturdays or Sundays. Starting time on a Saturday would be 1pm-5pm and will have to take a 20-30min brake at around 7pm for diner if we start after 3pm. Sundays would be starting time around 2pm. normally games last for about 4-5hours and are played weekly. Games can go on for longer if all players want to and i have time but i try and keep seasions to abotu 4hours long.
what time zone are you in? (GMT +X) and I can only play on Saturday. I have school on sunday until 5pm gmt +2

Hi, I guess I'm a bit late as you have 5 players now but would love to join you all for a game! I live in the UK (Essex) and could play a few evenings each week and most weekends. Been roleplaying since mid-eighties and played loads of 3.5 edition, would love to have a go at Pathfinder. Thanks Russ

Thanks for reply Kevin, I can do your suggested weekend times if that's what you settle on, the Wife has given me permission;)
This might also give me an excuse to buy some Pathfinder books at last! I take it there is a 'Players Handbook' type book that's it's best to start with yes? Thanks Rusd

I will certainly be there but that time every Sunday may prove tricky for me. Got 3 young kids and a Wife so often busy during the day at weekends, will see how it goes. Apologies if we use Skype and there is 'background' noise, the kids will be around then!
