LFG D&D 5E - New Player!

Hi guys - First things first, I am entirely new to D&D, my friend and I played a sort of "Tutorial" game for me last night, him as the GM, me as my character (Dragonborn Monk, now level 2) A small dungeon, but he took me through most of the basics, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first game! So I'm looking for a group that I can join with my little monk that welcomes new players who don't know everything about D&D, for a campaign of some sort that'll teach me, and that can give me an adventure at the same time! GMT +0 (London) Free most days usually So please let me know if anything pops up or you can think of something for me, happy dungeoning folks!
not sure about the schedule but I am willing to teach 5e and I run one shots on mondays soon.  skype is redzeckx I have DM'd many games of different types and am working on a world now.  Would love to get more people into the game in a well rounded way.
Hey there, if I may ask, what are one shots?

Hello i would love to learn 5e aswell, i read the players handbook, but don't have a place where to test it out, play out the game etc. Would love a place to start (gotta start somewhere). I am usually free anyday anytime at this moment (for few weeks since i am on holidays). I live in gmt+2 time zone. So if you are willing to help out or accept new players please reply :). Thank you
Hey Jamie, I'm recruiting players for a 5E game right now and it's open to people who are new to DnD. The time I've scheduled is Mondays at 11:30am GMT, if that works for you, feel free to check out my listing and maybe apply, I think you seem like the sort of player who'd fit well with the campaign I want to run. :)

If I'm not mistaken (after having come across the answer to this during my googling time, since I'm also new to tabletops and looking to play an introductory one), a one-shot is a game that only lasts 1 session. Non-one-shot games consist of multiple sessions, usually once every week, 2 weeks, or month (as can be seen in the advanced filter options of Roll20's LFG system. Like I said: I'm new to all tabletops, so if the people offering to provide an introductory game, I'd like to join, although I do wonder how accessible D&D is, since I hear these are quite rule-heavy and I have little idea of what to expect yet. I also live near the GMT timezone. Depending on how soon this game will occur, I may or may not be able to join a game in the afternoon like Jamie, but I will almost always be available in the evening. So please let me know if one such game is coming up :)
I am running a 5e campaign of Hoard of the Dragon Queen. Its already a party of 3 but im looking for 1 or 2 more. Message me for more info. The first session would be tonight at 8 pm CST. :D
I am running a short 5e adventure for level 1-2 characters that is starting up in about half an hour if anyone is interested as well.
