Looking for a group/players

Being new here, I am quite confused by all the posts I read as I was looking for a group so I'm just gonna post here, asking when and where a player would be needed/welcome. I am also open to GMing so if others are looking for a game, feel free !

Right now we have two games on this group: a Torchbearer game being run by TED (the Saturday Group thread) and a US Colonial Marines (TB hack) group run by me that needs at least one more person if not more.  There is a potential Mouse Guard game on the cards too, but no details posted as yet.

For clarification the Colonial Marines hack is set in Ridley Scott's Alien universe where the characters play from the perspective of marines as they go about their business. The Saturday group has room as well. Are you experienced with Torchbearer, Yan? Let us know if you have any questions about joining in.

I've had experience with Torchbearer, though it's been some time since last I played it. I'd be interested in playing in the Saturday group, though I'm not sure at what time it's supposed to start ? I think I read 8 pm EDT somewhere, am I right or is it something entirely different ? I'd eventually wanna run a group, so, how does one go about becoming a GM here ?

Nice. Yeah, we meet at 8 Eastern on Saturday. If you have all the materials for character creation feel free to burn one up, I've made a character sheet for you in the journal. Otherwise we can take care of it at the beginning of the session. Unfortunately the group creator is the only one who can edit game time or promote people to GM status, and he's on hiatus until the summer. We only really have enough active members currently for one game, although we rotate GMing as people desire. If you want to do it before the summer I'm sure we could manage something on here or you could simply make a secondary campaign page.
