Hi Taz, Hope you're well. I am about to start a 5e game shortly.
I am using all 5 books in order, so you will be able to try different
supplment adventure books and if all goes well the group will move onto
an ongoing campaign. It is scheduled for Monday nights EST/EDT
roughly around the 7:30pm timeslot and goes for 3-4hrs depending on
people's tiredness, requirements the next day etc. I live in Australia
so the time is like tuesday 9:30am for me.. lol Also I am looking at
running weekly or bi-weekly dependant on everyone's decision. I
am using "The Death House" as a warm up game and a way to get people
into a party and working together. I am even happy if the party decides
NOT to do Hoard of the Dragon Queen and want to do a homebrew world I am
working on. Either way works for me. I will be running using a
system called Adventure League which means if you keep and Adventure Log
you can then move on to using the character at conventions or other
events hosting Adventure League. To do this the characters needs to be
made by Adventure League standards and the link to the informaiton you
need is on the group site. I dont know what you're looking at for
a game, if you're willing to run through the 5 supplement books but I
am definitely willing to teach. I'm an experienced DM with 5e and other editions. Happy to help you along the way. Generally the game will be via talking on skype but the roll20 game site will be used for maps etc. Let me know if you're keen. Happy to have you.
