I am currently designing an RPG system to work with the world of Avatar: the Last Airbender. I'm nearly done and was curious of how many people would be interested. I am an 11 year RPG veteran so i have the experience of a multiple sets of systems from D&D 3.5 to Dresden Files RPG. I intend to run several test runs of the system so also post if you are interested as well (even if you really don't know what Avatar: the Last Air Bender is) Thx if you post and a double thx if you got anything to add :)
Mmm, interesting, would you consider a Legend of Korra time setting?
Could be interesting. I'd be interested in a non-canon setting (if you need one i've got one roughly devisied) Its set pre-Avatar (like before the Avatar existed). But I'd rather have a non-standard system.
there was a d20 system avatar game floating around not so long ago. would b interested if I like the system
Antonio C.: the way i have it set up is you could run it in your own era or in one of the series' eras. its more of a focus on building the character and then building the world. essentially you could use this for your own world that has elemental benders like avatar.
I would be interested, especially if it's a system similar to FATE Core, DFRPG or Dungeon World. I'm in games on Sundays (though I think this game is wrapping up), Mondays, Tuesdays and every other Thursday. Because I have to attend last minute events and do networking for work, sometimes I have to miss game sessions at the last minute. But this only happens rarely. Like maybe once every two to three months. Thanks and good luck whether or not I can join! This sounds exciting. Z
I'd be interested
ok, well as i said i still haven't finished yet and will need about another week to finish it
I would be interested. Expecially if it is more serious than the series
well right now its just a test run system, trying to figure out any tweeks that will need to be added.
I always loved Avatar, this seems like it could be a lot of fun. If you need people you can for sure count me in.
I would love to be part of the test if you would allow it. Not sure when i'll be free but if I am, I would love to join you guys.

Yes I would like to play-test your Avatar Airbender game system design with you. I have watched all the cartoons, all the Korra episodes so far, and all bonus content I could find. Have I mentioned the graphic novels, those too. Fan. In my home tabletop RPG game, it's BFRPG and AD&D hybrid house rules, I'm the DM, we have an Earthbender PC. I made up some mechanics and fluff for him, of course letting the Player introduce a lot of his own ideas as well. Considering it's a Dungeons & Dragons game not an "Avatar universe" game, the PC is a Dwarf Rock-bender, who uses a hammer swing in slow motion to conduct the moves. Been a lot of fun so far. We just started playing. I'd been working on the game prep for the last month. What's yours like? If you can send out some rules samples it would be fun to take a look. If you have a page of Earthbender powers I would really like to refer to that for my home campaign.
very interested. are you near completion?
Have you seen this? https://sites.google.com/site/avatard20/
Exalted, Dragon Blooded are similar to Benders Pathfinder, various elemental oracles become flavors of Benders Mutants and Masterminds, Benders are basically super heroes. Star wars, Force Adepts as Benders. Rifts, don't bother converting, just copy and paste whole. The fabric of reality is torn asunder, why balance anything?
This is interesting.
Here is a 4E D&D version that looks very well done. I always wanted to try it out. http://www.scribd.com/doc/16920521/COMPLETE-Avatar-the-Last-Airbender-A-Guide-to-Playing-Elemental-Heroes-in-Dungeons-and-Dragons-4th-Edition Avatar is amazing.
