Hello, Given that you're reading this, I can only assume that you're interested in joining me for an amazing adventure! Providing full disclosure, I'll tell you that I have never DMed a game before. In fact, I've hardly ever really played the game. My interest arose weeks ago and I have since purchased the Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide. I have some knowledge about how the game works and I'd really love to try and run a game with a few of you in hopes of not only learning more about the game, or increasing my experience as a DM for future games, but also to have an exciting time full of laughs, tears, and cheers. If I've held your interest this long, let me begin to tell you the further details of the game I'm trying to run. Adventure/Campaign: Lost Mines Of Phandelver (If this is sucessful, I'm more than willing to continue on to different adventures and keep this campaign going!) Number Of People Required: 4. I regret to inform that it would simply be too chaotic evil (Heh heh, Alignment joke) for me to run a game with more than 4 people, as well as being completely overwhelming. Times Available: Tuesdays and Wednesdays work best for me seeing as I always have those 2 days off from work. I live in the CDT timezone, but I'm able to wake up early or stay up late for accommodation of my players, so any time during those 2 days. Also, I'd like to make this a weekly event, but I'm also open to making it fortnightly. How You Can Join: If you would like to partake in this adventure/learning experience with me, all that I ask is that you leave a comment on this post with a brief description of your own experience, your schedule (So that I can better work out an exact time), and also just about who you are as a person ( Just because I'd like us all to continue playing as a group of friends if everything turns out golden). You can also PM me with the same information if that works better for you. Requests: I ask that you please do not use homebrew characters or try to multiclass. I'm trying to get the base game down first and then I'd be able to better handle the more advanced things, haha. Also, everyone will be starting at level 1 with characters they roll for with me in the VTT, just for my own piece of mind that no one is trying to play a character with 18 for all of their ability scores (If you roll that in front of me, I will commend you with a slow clap and a lone tear rolling down my cheek in approval). Extra Notes: Again, I'll reiterate that I am still fairly new to the game so I may slip up on something, but I assure you that I will give this game my greatest effort in hopes of having a great time and building stories to tell to my grandchildren years from now. :)
