GM Map Management Overhaul

I have been GMing a few Pathfinder APs, and by the time I get to book 3 in most of them, I find that the drop down map bar is kind of a pain to navigate. I have a few suggestions on how to streamline it. Make the map bar a tab on the right hand side instead of drop down on the top. Format the new map tab in a manner that allows the creation for folders for better organization. Allow maps to be archived. I put hours into some maps with dynamic lightning and decorating, and right now it feels like they are in the way of moving my players around. I would like to save them while cleaning up clutter. There are many large scale open world type games floating around. To help them out, allow GMs to move people to maps individually, as well as allow players to transition themselves to maps on there own. GMs can determine certain maps as "free move maps" where players can transition themselves. On a side note, map based chat would be great for these types of servers as well. Properly executed I envision a reincarnation of multi user dungeons. I encourage others to leave their thoughts on this as well. Thanks for reading my ideas.

Good suggestions, RedMoney . One small part of that already exists: you can Archive your Pages (maps), which puts them in an Archive folder and gets them out-of-the-way but lets you retrieve them later if needed. In the Page toolbar, click the gear icon Settings for a page, and look for the Archive button. Wiki Docs for archiving map Pages, https://wiki.roll20.net/Page_Settings Last, I wanted to mention, there are a couple other pre-existing Suggestions threads with similar subject. You might want to add your Comments and vote +1 on the best of those to consolidate. For your Search, this part of Roll20 is technically called Page Toolbar or Pages, but I know what you mean when you said "Gm Map management".
