He's on an adventure to save his sister from her imprisionment at the hands of an evil wizard. If he can find the magical Serpent's Staff, then he can buy her freedom! Mechanically, Surly is a highly unoptimized Magus. Instead of getting really good with a scimitar, Surly has spent years practicing the art of picking up anything he can find and beating people with it! He's currently written as a kensai with the weapon specialization of IMPROVISED, however that is highly subject to DM approval (plus the build works just fine without it). On the sheet I have him prepped to play anywhere between 1-5th level. I tried to notate as well as possible where he'll get which abilities. I'm apping to several games, but I only want to play with the best fit group. Let me know if you think he'll fit in your campaign!
