Looking for GM and players who wants to use the Cogent Roleplay system

I'm really hyped on trying the Cogent Roleplay system. If you don't know about it, it is a free system made by the people behind the Tabletop Time youtube channel.&nbsp; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/itstabletoptime" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/user/itstabletoptime</a> <a href="http://cogentroleplay.com/" rel="nofollow">http://cogentroleplay.com/</a> Here you can download the rule book and character sheet I'm not a ver experienced role player, but I think this system is interesting so I'm wondering if there are anyone who also would like to use it.&nbsp; When it comes to the game itself, I'm open to anything. I'm a bit of a slow learner, but I try my best to have fun, and to make it fun for everyone else too. I'm also interested in joining any other game. I'll need a lot of help to create a character and to understand the rules, and I'm more into the role playing part than combat and rules, but I like a mix of both. If not, I wouldn't be here. I'm able to play on saturdays from 6PM to 11PM GMT+2 until April 30. Other than that, I can play on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

I looked into this system and it doesn't seem that hard to grasp. It seems to be sort of fun and very simple to learn. I wouldn't mind giving this game a try if there's interest. I'm still reading the rules and I have some experience as a GM so I look forward to creating a great game with this system or at least a short 3-5 session mini adventure.

I am very interested in roleplaying games in general, however I am young and have never played a game of any pnp roleplaying games whatsoever. I am in the process of sifting through the rules of cogent roleplay as we speak(chat). If you are willing to help me with this, I would like to join, however I also understand if you don`t. I am also new to the Roll-20 website and community. I like to see myself as a nerd and grammar enthusiast, I have followed Table Top Time for a while now so I am familiar with how cogent plays.

Just finished looking over the core rules and the system sounds interesting. Granted, alpha so there is a lot of room to be "creative" with rules (experience has been with Pathfinder so not having rules in regards to leveling up or having a thousand options in regards to armor/weapons and making them better feels unnerving.) so I can only imagine that a proper session 0 would be needed to hash anything (or everything) out. Sundays are the best for me, as I'm pretty loaded on Saturday. Send me a PM if you have room.

i have narated e.g. GMed a few games of cogent role-play and would be interested in playing and would be willing to help people understand the rules timing mite be a bit of a challenge due to me living in new zealand GMT+12 but I'm free most of the time&nbsp;

I would love to play this! Big time fan of TableTopTime and DrawWithJazza so I would love to get involved. I have read the rules and&nbsp;have a little bit of experience. However, I live in Japan so pretty much same problem as Brinley except its GMT +9 Usually sundays and saturdays are good though.

im running a cogent roleplay campaign &nbsp;in a few weeks the setting is a high fantasy world that has a massive forest that has grown vile and and wicked forcing the inhabitants to leave the forest they once called home to cities and villages full of humans that aren't to happy about having so many other races in there cities. i am happy to change the day or time depending on the conveniance for the players

I have never played any table top games but I've looked this over and I think it's a nice system to get started on and would definitely be interested in joining a game with you guys. Obviously I'll require patience because I'm still not entirely convinced I understand interactions and how they fully work but I'm also not dumb so I understand most of the game. I can play pretty much anytime outside of working hours for GMT+00. I would definitely prefer a lower magic game to not be too overloaded in my first experience and making the characters more relate able to things I understand.

Depending on time and day I would be very interested in this. I have literally played hundreds of game systems over the years and this sounds like a load of fun. If you still have a spot open please consider me.

So is anyone actually going to host one? I've never played it before so I'm hesitant to run my own game as a GM.

We were going to have a game, but the guy who wanted to GM didn't have time so I'm not sure if there will be a game or not.

If anyone else would like to make a game, we can discuss it with everyone who can play.

Is there a Cogent character sheet made up for roll20? I can't seem to find one, but maybe I'm not looking in the right area. I'm really interested in this style of PnP... thinking doing about a Vampire-based game...

The character sheet isn't here on roll20 no. We can fill it in like a pdf instead.

Well I know that you can re-make the character sheets, so maybe I'll give that a go. Been awhile since I've worked with HTML/CSS but it shouldn't be /too/ hard.

That would be neat. I have no experience with HTML so I certainly wouldn't be able to do that now.

Aww. Well if someone who does have a pro account joins they could maybe try to do that. If not, we'll just have our character sheets on PDF.
