New Player Game Session, Pathfinder

This is a D&D next test campaign, that will hopefully develop into a full time campaign. Attention new players!   A friend and I are willing to run a D&D game for brand new players to RPGs (Role Playing Games).  No experience, no problem.  We will walk you through how to play with no pressure from experienced players.  You may play in our “beginners’ game” for as long as you like until you find your legs.  First session will be character creation, developing character background, presenting administrative information and of course, getting to know one another.  May start play if we have enough time.   Game Time :  Friday evenings at 6:30 pm (Central Time) Setting : Medieval England, circa 1300s; cool and gloomy vales & moors inhabited by snot driveling dirt-poor peasants (your parents, uncles, etc.), cruel Lords of the Manor, monsters lurking in the wilderness waiting to rip your innards out and treasures waiting to be found & looted.  The world is a brutal unforgiving place, but for the clever player there are many opportunities to seize. Are you new to rpgs and want to play?  Post below and I’ll be in touch.  Please, we are only interested in teaching new guys, so experienced players need not apply.  I say this because new players will get all the attention and hand holding while experienced players sit on their thumbs and moan that they are soooo bored!  Must download D&D next play packet (rules,classes, etc) before we play.   D&D Next Play Test Packet Mic is required- we use voice only.   Start Date:  Friday, 13 September 2013 at 6:30 pm (central Time).   On Thursday, 12 September 2013, if you are still interested send me a pm and I'll send an invite to the campaign and info on the voice communication (mumble). WARNING:   Adult themes may be presented in game- murder, mayhem, adult language, alcohol use/abuse, tobacco use, prostitution, death, disease, discrimination, racism, sexism, cruel land lords and nobles, and sobbing peasants. I'm not an entirely new player (I only have a few months of experience), would I still be able to join this? Also, would it be text or voiced RP?

Novice here, have played a few games of DnD 3.5 wouldn't mind learning more along with pathfinder.

how is it compaired to 3.5?  i love 3.5 and DM a 3.5 campaign. want to learn 4e and pathfinder though

3.5 and pathfinder are pretty similar.  It's the same core rules with tweaks to thing like feats, classes, racial stats, etc. for the sake of balance.  It also adds a few things as well.

Ensayn1, good question.  This will be a voice only game, so a mic is necessary.  More information to follow this evening; looks like there are 3-4 of you that are interested.

I know you said NO EXPERIENCED PLAYERS buuuuuuuut  I love helping spread the wealth that is Pathfinder!  I also know that a good experienced player can help spread the knowledge around and bring a different perspective especially with as much play time as i've had >.>. If not thats ok -sad panda face- I dont mind hand holding or waiting *especially if shes cute!!*

I just posted a thread about having trouble finding a game. My prayers have been answered! You can count me in on this game. I already have a couple characters made in the waiting but I may even make another depending on what the party seems to be like.

I'm Interested, I played D&D 3.0 long time ago and I'm starting to return to RPG thru Pathfinder. Count me in!

i am new to the pnp games and i never played them. I really would like to get my foot into it. I have some general exp from playing DDO, NWN and BG, so i know some general basics. So am i in?
