Gorefest Dungeon April 17th Session

Joining us this session were: Luke C. as Kritty the Swashbuckler Catfolk at 286 points Mark W. as Kegorach the Wizard at 255 points Naryar as Brother Sarman the Martial Artist at 269 points Stripe as the Fire Cleric at 257 points And Archie playing a few NPC characters Starting off the session with some prep work, everyone rested upwards and Sarman was once again blessed by the cleric, a direly needed buff after the trouble had with the encounter with the ice elemental. Even after cautiously approaching the door and making certain that there were no traps, the true session began as the door creaked open to a sight that invoked a rather large amount of déjà vu for the people at hand. But with no time to actually sit and contemplate the event as the skirmish had already been joined. A small rival party was discovered in combat with a force mixed with hobgoblins and goblins whose attention ended up split between their current opponents and the new interlopers in the open doorway. The three sided melee had no real victors when only that recently cast blessing on Sarman took effect and kept the unlucky Martial Artist from losing his leg, though it still took him out of the battle for a while as he struggling to keep conscious from the pain that he was experiencing and Kegorach learned that there are some spells that you just shouldn’t use indoors with Spell-Archery, it would be best to hope that the manor owner had some insurance in case of accidental meteorites falling from the sky. A back and forth, with Keggy keeping aim on any that may have come too close to the door and Rashi calling forth his constant companion, a large area of fire. A long melee between the three finally ended when Kritty used the Word of Power granted by Kegorach to activate Great Haste and took down the remaining two Hobgoblins with great ease. Kill Count: Maahriaan 4 Murrin 3 Singe 2 Rattle 3 Kritty 3 CP Awards: 1CP awarded to all that came to the table While a lot of fodder were killed, the division was more towards the other side, sooooo. . . Total CP awarded: 1 No Loot gained.
Sorry for the lack of quality in this recap, but there wasn't too much to go on.
I'm thoroughly surprised that Kritty didn't have the highest kill count. Quit slackin'.
^There was a lot of competition by way of Archie's NPC's, at least one of which is pretty beast (for ~150 points).  Good game! Wasn't the most exciting session of this dungeon, but there have to be lulls occasionally. Kind of like XP/GP grinding in CRPG's. Looking forward to the 24th! Thanks for running the session!
Indeed. As mentioned at the start of the session, I do have a general time table on how long it should take us to finish this dungeon. 17th: Finish the first room of the second corridor 24th: Make way to Boss room, start Boss fight. Possibly finish it. 1st: Return to main room and head into the third corridor, possible encounter 8th: Make way to Final Boss, start encounter 15th: Finish fight, make way back to hub room. Stripe did mention being kind enough to toss on an extra session just in case something went wrong, but from what I've seen of this group so far, I believe that this would probably end up being what happens.
