In a world...20 minutes into the future... Economic and environmental turmoil, combined with global war, has caused China to be the largest economic and military superpower in the world. Hong Kong has become the new New York, a cultural mixing-pot that is currently set on high boil... Crime has become rampant in the new mega city of Hong Kong, as drug gangs fight for turf, black market genesplicing creates a new second caste of so-called "gene freaks", and mysterious power long thought dormant begins to bubble up through the cracks. The city is in danger of falling into the darkness forever, and only a brave few can stand in the light to face down the evil that plagues it. Hong Kong 20XX uses most of the rules of the regular Feng Shui 2 core rule book, although for character generation we will be focusing mostly on characters available in Modern Day, despite the futuristic setting, meaning you can play as a Kung Fu Cop or Big Bruiser, but a Ghost or Sorcerer may be out of place. The Gene Freak archetype is also available for use, and if there's an archetype you *really* want to run but aren't sure how it'll fit in the game I'm looking to run, feel free to PM me before joining. This game is open to experienced players and players new to the Feng Shui setting and rules, as our first session will focus on introducing the setting and throwing the team together in the exciting Throwdown On The Hong Kong Express ! I'm a new GM looking to get some experience running games. The campaign is fairly cinematic, with a focus more on roleplaying and "what's fun" than rule-lawyering. I'm running a "PG-13" campaign, so it'll be light and fun, and I'm looking for players that will work well together and keep the group fun. If you're interested, feel free to post or PM me and I'll send an invite.
