A Monthly "Campaign of the Month" and "Campaign of the Year" voting!

Also DM of the year and player of the year (although that could be a bit more complicated). I got the inspiration for this because sometimes I just appreciate good stories and transcripts of adventures that people went through. Surely this is not just me that feels this way. If somebody in the community creates an epic story, I just think it ought to be shared so the rest of us could enjoy it too! Just an idea, although I can imagine this would require a lot of time and somebody/somebodies who's really bored and wants to be paid to read story after story and sift through a lot of bad ones to find a true gem. Perhaps the players themselves could provide feedback on the quality of the campaign to help.  Incentives to participate in this friendly competition would be nice. Perhaps a special border around the avatar image or icon/label next to the name in listings and forum posts. And if this is already a thing then please point me in the right direction.
One of the main problem I can think of is... the only people who could really fairly vote would be people IN the campaign. Since many of those people will only be in one or two campaigns, the actual variance in the vote numbers won't be all that large and campaigns where everyone is just playing in that one campaign will essentially have one vote per player.  Then, the most voted campaign will be the one with the most players. A slightly better way might be to ask players at random for out of 10 results for the campaign they're in, on a variety of ratings.  If you select at random, and at random intervals, people might give more honest answers (though there'll probably still be some trollish outliers one way or the other). Then add them up, average across number of players actually polled, general statistical wizardry, could come up with something slightly usable.  I'd make it bi-monthly rather than monthly personally, just to get a bit more time to collect results. I like the idea in principle though :)

I was thinking people could submit entire campaigns like a pre-made adventure that other people could use.  The two month idea is good too.
