[Interest Check] Savage Worlds Saturday early afternoons (EST)

What interest exists for something like this and if so, which setting(s)?
Me and my friend Giovanni wouldn't mind playing some interface zero 2.0, a savage world settings. We live on the west coast. Also got a friend named Zack that might be intersted in playing, he lives on the east coast.
I just picked up the Savage Worlds Deluxe Explorer's Edition last month. I've yet to play or run it, but I've read through it a couple times. I'm not involved in any other games and I'm free Saturday afternoons. Are you looking to GM or play, Brian?

I own Interface Zero and would be open to running it.  It is one of the more involved settings, however, so it probably wouldn't be my first choice just from a prep standpoint.
I've glanced over a PDF copy of Interface Zero 2.0 -- that's a monster of a setting book. It's basically Savage Worlds' answer to Shadowrun, yeah? Minus magic and dragons. I really like it (amazing art), but I can see how much of a pain prep could be. What genre/settings do you prefer, Brian?
My pretty sure I can convince my friends to play any setting of savage worlds. Any one you had in mind.
Well, I have a ton of Deadlands and would open to doing that.  Same with Deadlands Noir and Hell on Earth.  I also have Necessary Evil, Solomon Kane, 50 Fathoms, Spanish Main, Hellfrost, Broken Earth and of course IZ 2.0.  If everyone wants to play IZ2.0, I'm not opposed to running it.  I'll just need some time to prep and a little bit of leeway as I get into that cyberpunk mindset (like buying Ghost in the Shell: SAC).
I'm not familiar with many of Savage Worlds settings - I mostly purchased the system so I could run original settings (since the system is "generic"). I did buy the two Low Life books. I'm looking forward to running that at some point. 50 Fathoms does look interesting. Adding the fantasy element into a pirate world sounds pretty cool. Out of the settings you listed, 50 Fathoms interests me the most, with Interface Zero as a close second.
I just talked to my friends and they would be down to play some Deadlands, but we have never played it before. Me and Giovanni have only played a couple of sessions of Necessary Evil with powers from the Super Powers Companion 2nd. So if your ok with newbies, we are down.
How does 1pm EST on Saturdays look for everyone?  I'm personally leaning towards running Deadlands but that's not for sure yet.
Giovanni and I are good with 1pm EST on Saturdays. Just waiting on a reply from Zack, he might be asleep already.
I'd have to pass on Deadlands. Not into zombies/horror, steampunk, or westerns. Thanks anyway!
Well since everyone is most interested in IZ 2.0, I'll run that.
I'm very interested, but have a couple of questions: 1. Will the sessions end prior to 6pm Eastern? 2. Is this going to be every Saturday or every other Saturday?
IZ2.0 is okay, but Solomon Kane would seriously rock!

It's probably going to be something more like 3 Saturdays a month.  Of the people who've responded, what savage worlds materials are available to you (I.e. which books would I not have to read to you for character creation? Ha-ha)
Willing to take on a new player? I have the books.

Hmm I would love some cyberpunk.
Le Di C. said: Hmm I would love some cyberpunk. Right? I just ordered the Interface Zero 2.0 book today. Give me a few weeks to read through that beast and I'll be up for GMing it.
This sounds very interesting if a wee bit early for west coasters.  I would enjoy playing in any of Solomon Kane, Interface zero, or Deadlands.  I have pdfs for each. Any idea of a start date (i.e. April 23?  30?)
I've invited 5 people to IZ2.0 and will see what the response is like. I'm open to bringing in a couple more depending. The first game will probably be April 30 with a session zero possibly the 23rd.  I am heartened by the Solomon Kane love. Depending on the response, I may get a second game going that is that. I would need at least 3 people interested though.

Well Andrew Sir Kerry and aramis make 3 for Kane so that'll be a possibility á well
I've got the IZ book (actually come to think of it I think I have every version of IZ), the Soloman Kane books, 50 Fathom book, the Spanish Main book, and lots of other SW books.  Of the ones you mention I don't think I have Broken Earth of the Deadlands books. Also I'm only going to be able to play every other Saturday, and the 30th of April unfortunately isn't one of those Saturdays (it conflicts with the Cypher System game I run every other Saturday at 1pm).
No worries, we can work with it
