As the title states, I'm looking for 2 players to play with 3 others in
the OVA System. The setting: something similar to the new anime Boku no
Hero Academia! If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching the first
episode to get a feel for it.
Note that I will be using the hero-concept rather than the exact
setting (though its likely that it will have similar things). You
guys will be teenagers, either placed before high school ends or at the
entrance ceremony of the Hero Academy, each with your own unique powers
(Stealing the name: Quirks). I will be attempting to implement
backstory to the campaign, so I would like it if you guys gave me
something within the background to play with :) . When it comes to your
character's suit, you may either draw or describe it, just so everyone
in the game has an idea on what it looks like (note that you will likely
not be wearing all the time, unless you are weird lol). If there are
any more questions on the setting, please ask away! The system
itself is again, OVA. Do not worry about the rules, I am able to teach
it. If you want the book, there are other ways to find it online; I
would recommend purchasing it though, but I will not force you. Simply
put, the system is rolling 2d6 (plus any other dice from modifiers) and
adding multiples together to get the highest roll. Character
Creation will be discussed in more detail once everyone is together, but
for now just think of a power (you are limited to one, more details
later) and some backstory. The time this game will start are
Saturdays at 10:30 AM PDT. I will not be able to change the time
currently so it is in stone for now. As for the date, the first session
(character creation and stuff) will be on April 30th. We will be using
Skype for voice chat and general messages for when we need to, as well
as talking to one another. If you send me a juicy character idea
before the first session, it will likely bump you up for being chosen
(wink wink nudge nudge). If there are any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I hope to play with some of you! (P.S. No one has made characters yet, so don't worry).
