Map Sharing

The idea came about when a friend of mine asked if he could have one of the maps I designed for my game so he could use it for his game. It would be really good to be able to share maps with others. - The creative freedom and the ability to share maps will help bring more creative uses and help a GM out if they do not have one ready. There could even be a gallery to download and upload them to, so they can be shared by everyone. - To avoid purchased Asset sharing, saving the map as one high resolution image may not only avoid the issue of harming the market but also saving memory as one image instead of many individual assets. In a sense making a "Publish" option to save the map as a single image and post it on a gallery with a serial number or map name so others may find and download it as a single image into their games.

Would be nice if there was some way for it to check if the other person has access to those images (like if you both buy the packs, it can be transferred)
All I can say is writing a simple form to know if something has been purchased is already tracked on account basis, otherwise we'd have to rebuy all of our assets we've already purchased every time we use them. Small bit of editting to integrate cross referencing to see if both evaluate to true, and deletion of those items that have a conflict in the map transfer. Really not that difficult.
I think it would be a great idea. This will allow for people from other campaigns to share maps they like from one another. Like Tim O. Said it would make some games a little easier for people to share with each other using the transmog option or something along those lines.

I like this very much.  +1
I would also like this. Currently I want to make some maps for my DM regarding my player's home/backstory but I can't. Being able to make one and send it to him via saving the image to my PC and giving it to him or transferring it over from my campaign over to his would be amazing.
I came to this forum to suggest about the same thing.  I've built around 50 maps for the campaign that I've run over the last two years, almost all of them using either my own self-built images or publicly accessible artwork.  The campaign has ended, so I'd love to donate the maps to the community, but there doesn't seem a good way to do so. What I was thinking is when adding a new map, there should be a way to "import a community map" or when looking at the map's settings, a way to "donate map to community".  In both cases, it would filter out any non-publicly accessible content.  Perhaps when saving there would be a warning that it contained such content?
