Upgrading my free account in the middle of my campaign

So I started a campaign of dnd 5e with my free account. Now that I am 4 sessions in, I realize I really enjoy this app and want to benefit from subscribing to a plus account for now. My main reasoning is supporting this site, but secondarily, I want to use an earlier version of the character sheets we use.(shaped) I don't like the newer version. Now if I understand, by becoming a plus member, I will be able to choose whoch version I want, but can I do that on a campaign that was started as a free account campaign. And if I can swap my existing character sheets for the older version, what eill happen to my current character sheets? Will the be replaced with new blank pages or will they manage to retain any of the information?
Yes, if you upgrade, you can continue to use the current campaign (although I would suggest making a copy of it for backup purposes, and running in the new system, for reasons which will soon become apparent.) By upgrading, you will have the opportunity to install custom character sheets. In this manner, you can find an older copy of the sheet you like, and import it, replacing the current sheet with the older one in all games in which you do this. When you do so, the information stored in the current sheet will be transferred to the new (old) sheet, IF AND ONLY IF there is an identical named attribute. For example, if the current sheet has a field called "Weapon 1" and the new (old) sheet uses "Weapon A" instead... then the information will not transfer, and you will need to update it manually. So, you should first make a clone of your campaign. Then upgrade, and go into the cloned copy. Replace the sheet info, and see what happens! MOST of your data should be able to transfer. And if it doesn't... you've still got the original campaign, which will be unaffected by any changes to the clone! Hope that helps. -Phnord

Please note that Custom Sheets is a perk available only to Pro subscribers. However, reverting from the Shapedv2 to the old Shaped sheet will cause substantial data inaccessibility on every Character . For this reason (and for the sake of optimizing Roll20's performance), the sheet's author recommends simply creating fresh Characters for use with Shapedv2. Again, it's recommended to create a copy of your game before changing Character Sheets. It's also recommended to enter both games (the copy with the old sheet and the game with the new sheet) simultaneously in order to make it easier to transfer (i.e. copy and paste) information from the former to the latter.
Hey  Matthew W. - please follow the instructions from our mod and since you already emailed us, please reply to that message if you have any issues. Thanks!
