Hoping to join a group - First time playing.

Would hopefully like to join a group to play D&D5e.  Preferably within UK hours.  It'd be my first time playing D&D, which I hope won't put anyone off. Many thanks.

I hope I am not to rude and I in no way mean to hijack your thread, but I myself am a relatively new player to D&D5e (played one game so far) with some previous experience from a swedish version of it.  I am like you also looking for a group to play with and was thinking that perhaps we could find one together.

I'm a noob too. If only we could find a DM who has the time to teach us, we could start a group lol

That's a good point. Fingers crossed we can find a DM willing to do that.

Hello! Are you looking for a good DM... Or a newbie DM, I can be one of them and guess what, you're out of luck, I'm the newbie one! Ehmm... Hello, I've played D&D for 1½ month now in two different groups, never as a DM before. But I think I miiight be able to fit in a game more a week or so. And trying out DM'ing and learning it with a group of new players that I can hopefully learn what I've learned the last month would be great. I've got nothing prepared at the moment, but I'd like to think I can be creative at times, so I'd love to hear what fantasy setting each of you'd like to play in, and then we'll figure out something.. Basically, I help you create a character and we start and see where it gets us! It might be a one shot, might be monthly or maybe weekly, we'll see how it goes. However I do understand if you want someone who is confident in his ability to DM, and in such a case I might just ask if theres another spot as player! - Zrie

Well we can see how it goes. I mean I think it'd be more beneficial to all if we learned while doing a campaign y'know? But it's all good.

I'm not in the UK, but I'm as far East as you can get in North America (Newfoundland has it's own time zone) so I might be able to participate. And if you're looking for a concept for a Campaign, I do have a rough draft done up for a large Multi-Island Province. <a href="http://imgur.com/gmDxpZu" rel="nofollow">http://imgur.com/gmDxpZu</a> It's a small scale representation at the moment. I've been hoping to find someone that can bring it to life as a much larger province since what you see is simply the major settlements. The premise is a volcanic island chain based on the Galapagos that has an insanely diverse selection of ecosystems, and an economy centered around the Dome Arena, which holds gladiator style battles between Men, Beasts, or both.

Are you specifically looking for 5th edition? Or are you looking for any style in general? I have a lot more fun GMing and playing Pathfinder, which is very similar to D&D 3.5 (It was actually a modified 3.5 for years until they updated it as it's own thing). @Thomas, I sent you a PM. I love that map, and would like to talk to you more about it.
