How to deal with overlapping tokens?

I am trying to move a board game to roll20. One issue I have is that a player can have multiple tokens on the same hex. However, each time more a second or more token is added to a location it covers the others and I cannot get to the ones at the bottom without dragging each other token somewhere.   Is there any way to get to the tokens below without moving each other one to an unoccupied area first?
Right click on the token and select To Back or you could turn of snap to grid and stagger them.

or, you could set your grid to 1/3rd the size of your hexes so you can snap each token into one of several positions on the tile.
Good ideas, thanks.
There's also the fact that, by holding  ALT , you can position your token exactly where you want it, pixel-by-pixel! I often adjust my mook tokens by juuust enough to make their name tag visible, so my players know who they're fighting! -Phnord
