A bit Befuddled

i think the changes Roll20 made make it a lot simpler to find a group or player for whatever game gets your fancy. However, i did notice that there is no "Aberrant" (of White Wolf Publishing, now owned by Onyx Publishing. who have promised to republish the popular game) in the list of games, while there are already two GM's i know of are running Aberrant game. Yet, when i try to look up "Settlers of Catan" (which does feature in the list of games) have no group listings at all. This has left me a bit befuddled. as a matter of personal opinion - Though i understand Settlers of Catan is popular, it isn't being played on Roll20. I'm not saying it shouldn't be in the list, but i do think the games that are being played on Roll20 should get a priority in the list of games. A way to solve this is to allow Roll20 members to apply to Roll20 to get their games added to this list. So let me be the first to apply for "Aberrant" to be added to this list. Aberrant is part of the Aeon Trinity Universe which also includes "Adventure and Trinity". Should you decide to add to the list, I propse you add "Aeon Trinity" to the list, instead of just "Aberrant", thus inluding all these games. Boko

Some important reading: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/324913/new-update-9-slash-4-social-features-player-directory-expanded-player-profiles-lfg-tool-overhaul#post-325449 There are already discussions regarding this. As for Settlers of Catan, there are already a number of games going on. The lack of people searching for it should not be construed that it is not a popular game on Roll20. Additionally, the change is litterally just a couple of days old. It will take time for people to update their profiles. - Gauss

I belong to a settlers of Catan group (same one as Gauss). It and other board games are growing in popularity as quick pickups. Give the new listing style a few weeks to a month to see how it shakes down and settles.
As for categories with no listings, I don't have a ton of free time, but now cat an is on there

Boko (GM) said: White Wolf Publishing, now owned by Onyx Publishing The Onyx Path does not own White Wolf/CCP; The Onyx Path was created by White Wolf's Creative Director, and holds licensing rights for the publication of many White Wolf/CCP titles. (The Onyx Path purchased the Trinity Universe and Scion lines from White Wolf/CCP entirely.) While Wolf/CCP still owns the majority of their games (such as World of Darkness and Exalted ), the books are simply published by The Onyx Path.
