[LFP] Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2e, Mon - Thur from 7.00pm CET

As the title suggest, I'm looking for a group of 3-4 players to play WHFR with. For me, this is going to be a first try with the system. I think it's neat in the way that it presents a constant threat of lethality and I'm keen to find out if it can live up to that expectation. If it does I'll probably keep playing the game as a campaign, but for now the idea is to get my feet wet (and hopefully some of yours too). I'll be running the game as a sandbox game with a separate Session Zero to create characters together and to establish some short-term goals for the characters. (The character creation process is basically lots of rolling and a few choices to be made, so that shouldn't take too long.) I'll be running the game in English. I'm not a native speaker, but of an adequate level anyways. Other possibilities would be to play in Dutch (but I reckon that is highly unlikely to happen). So, are you up to try something new and exciting? Lemme know. 

Well, I'd like to play, assuming it's not on monday or tuesday. Would it be possible to pick a career instead of rolling? I'd like to play a wizard's apprentice.

Hey, I'd also like to play. For me, I'm available on the days you've listed, so I don't mind the times Longes posted if he's in the campaign. As for characters I'm thinking something Bretonnian or maybe a Cadet. 

I'm a huge fan of the system and the setting and wanting to play a game for ages.  I'm pretty flexible with when I can play.

Okay, wow! I hadn't expected such quick responses. Sorry for the slow response.  Normally, I'd let players roll twice for career and pick the one they deem the most appropriate, but if any of you really want to play a certain character I'm rather open to just choosing a starting career, so that's definitely an option.  Seeing that Longes would prefer not to play on Mondays or Tuesdays, how do the rest of you feel about playing on either Wednesday or Thursday at 7.00 PM CET? If that would work out we could schedule a session zero to create our characters. I am however still working on the campaign map and such so that would probably be 12th of May (or the 19th of May if things don't go as fast as I want them to, though I think that won't be the case) Kind regards, Kevin

Great, that all works for me! I would prefer  Thursday, but Wednesday would be just fine if most others want it.

Would Thursday work for you guys as well? Also, I've lowly been working on the campaign game on roll20, so I can add anyone who's definitely interested.

If there's a spot left, I'd be glad to oblige. I'm not super familiar with Warhammer Fantasy, but I'm very familiar with WH40k and its RPG systems.

I also would like to express my interest. I've played Warhammer 40k (Dark Heresy), but not Warhammer Fantasy yet. I'd love to learn though, if space is available. I'm an experienced player in several other systems including D&D (3.5 and 4E), Pathfinder, Serenity RPG, Deadlands, and a couple of lesser known systems. Thursday would also be ideal for me, though I could play Tuesday or Wednesday just about any time as well.

If there is any room and any chance it could be a Wednesday, I'd love to join! Bit late to the party...

Soooo, is this thing dead?

Hey, Nope, it´s not dead. I´m just working when I can to create the environment to game in.  I want to be able to just present my players with some detailed locations to start with and just have them decide where to go and what to do from there. That does take some preparation time though as I need to fill in the map and come up with possible hooks in advance. I´m nearing completion though and I expect to make a selection of players within a week from now. Kind regards, Kiev
